[Put] the trumpetto your lips!Like an eagle[the enemy comes] againstthe houseof the LORD,Becausethey have transgressedMy covenantAnd rebelledagainstMy law.
But Rabshakehsaidto them, "Has my mastersentme only to your masterand to you to speakthesewords,[and] not to the menwho siton the wall,[doomed] to eattheir own dungand drinktheir own urinewith you?"
Allyou inhabitantsof the worldand dwellerson earth,As soon as a standardis raisedon the mountains,you will see[it], And as soon as the trumpetis blown,you will hear[it].
The earthis also pollutedby its inhabitants,for they transgressedlaws,violatedstatutes,brokethe everlastingcovenant.
"Cryloudly,do not holdback;Raiseyour voicelike a trumpet,And declareto My peopletheir transgressionAnd to the houseof Jacobtheir sins.
not like the covenantwhichI madewith their fathersin the dayI tookthem by the handto bringthem out of the landof Egypt,My covenantwhichthey broke,although I was a husbandto them," declaresthe LORD.
I will givethe menwho have transgressedMy covenant,whohave not fulfilledthe wordsof the covenantwhichthey madebeforeMe, [when] they cutthe calfin twoand passedbetweenits parts--

Declarein Judahand proclaimin Jerusalem,and say,"Blowthe trumpetin the land;Cryaloudand say,Assembleyourselves, and let us goInto the fortifiedcities.'
For thussaysthe LORD:"Behold,one will flyswiftlylike an eagleAnd spreadout his wingsagainstMoab.
Behold,He will mountup and swooplike an eagleand spreadout His wingsagainstBozrah;and the heartsof the mightymenof Edomin that daywill be like the heartof a womanin labor.
Liftup a signalin the land,Blowa trumpetamong the nations!Consecratethe nationsagainsther, Summonagainsther the kingdomsof Ararat,Minniand Ashkenaz;Appointa marshalagainsther, Bringup the horseslike bristlylocusts.
"Fleefor safety,O sonsof Benjamin,From the midstof Jerusalem!Now blowa trumpetin TekoaAnd raisea signaloverBeth-haccerem;For evillooksdownfrom the north,And a greatdestruction.
"Therefore,prophesyagainstthem, sonof man,prophesy!"
For thussaysthe LordGOD,"I will also dowith you as you have done,you whohave despisedthe oathby breakingthe covenant.
saying,'Thussaysthe LordGOD,"A greateaglewith greatwings,longpinionsand a fullplumageof manycolorscameto Lebanonand tookaway the topof the cedar.
They have blownthe trumpetand madeeverythingready,but nooneis goingto the battle,for My wrathis againstalltheir multitude.
My peopleare destroyedfor lackof knowledge.Becauseyou have rejectedknowledge,I also will rejectyou from being My priest.Since you have forgottenthe lawof your God,I alsowill forgetyour children.

But like Adamthey have transgressedthe covenant;Therethey have dealttreacherouslyagainst Me.
Alltheir evilis at Gilgal;Indeed,I came to hatethem there!Becauseof the wickednessof their deedsI will drivethem out of My house!I will lovethem nomore;Alltheir princesare rebels.
Blowa trumpetin Zion,And soundan alarmon My holymountain!Let allthe inhabitantsof the landtremble,For the dayof the LORDis coming;Surelyit is near,

Ifa trumpetis blownin a citywill not the peopletremble?Ifa calamityoccursin a cityhas not the LORDdoneit?
"The songsof the palacewill turnto wailingin that day,"declaresthe LordGOD."Many[will be] the corpses;in everyplacethey will castthem forth in silence."
I sawthe Lordstandingbesidethe altar,and He said,"Smitethe capitalsso that the thresholdswill shake,And breakthem on the headsof them all!Then I will slaythe restof them with the sword;They will not have a fugitivewho will flee,Or a refugeewho will escape.

A dayof trumpetand battlecryAgainstthe fortifiedcitiesAnd the highcornertowers.
Openyour doors,O Lebanon,That a firemay feedon your cedars.
Then the LORDwill appearoverthem, And His arrowwill goforthlike lightning;And the LordGODwill blowthe trumpet,And will marchin the stormwindsof the south.

in a moment,in the twinklingof an eye,at the lasttrumpet;for the trumpet will sound,and the deadwill be raisedimperishable,and we will be changed.
