Then JacobkissedRachel,and liftedhis voiceand wept.
So when Labanheardthe newsof Jacobhis sister'sson,he ranto meethim, and embracedhim and kissedhim and broughthim to his house.Then he relatedto Labanallthesethings.
"Deliverme, I pray,from the handof my brother,from the handof Esau;for I fearhim, that he will comeand attackme [and] the motherswith the children.
He said,"Your nameshall nolongerbe Jacob,but Israel;for you have strivenwith Godand with menand have prevailed."
Josephhurried[out] for he was deeplystirredoverhis brother,and he sought[a place] to weep;and he enteredhis chamberand weptthere.
He tookportionsto them from his own table,but Benjamin'sportionwas fivetimesas muchas anyof theirs. So they feastedand drankfreelywith him.
He weptso loudlythat the Egyptiansheard[it], and the householdof Pharaohheard[of it].
Josephpreparedhis chariotand wentup to Goshento meethis fatherIsrael;as soon as he appearedbeforehim, he fellon his neckand wepton his necka longtime.
So when Joabcameto the kingand toldhim, he calledfor Absalom.Thus he cameto the kingand prostratedhimself on his faceto the groundbeforethe king,and the kingkissedAbsalom.
"OLord,I beseechYou, may Your earbe attentiveto the prayerof Your servantand the prayerof Your servantswho delightto revereYour name,and makeYour servantsuccessfultodayand granthim compassionbeforethisman."Now I was the cupbearerto the king.
When they liftedup their eyesat a distanceand did not recognizehim, they raisedtheir voicesand wept.And eachof them torehis robeand they threwdustovertheir headstoward the sky.
I soughtthe LORD,and He answeredme, And deliveredme from allmy fears.
When a man'swaysare pleasingto the LORD,He makesevenhis enemiesto be at peacewith him.
The king'sheartis [like] channelsof waterin the handof the LORD;He turnsit whereverHe wishes.

When the ladwas gone,Davidrosefrom the southsideand fellon his faceto the ground,and bowedthreetimes.And they kissedeachotherand wepttogether,but David[wept] the more.
