"Then your famewentforthamong the nationson account of your beauty,for it was perfectbecause of My splendorwhichI bestowedon you," declaresthe LordGOD.
"You also tookyour beautifuljewels[made] of My goldand of My silver,whichI had givenyou, and madefor yourself maleimagesthat you might playthe harlotwith them.
thussaysthe LordGOD,'Removethe turbanand takeoffthe crown;this[will] nolonger [be] the same.Exaltthat whichis lowand abasethat whichis high.
"The soundof a carefreemultitudewas with her; and drunkardswere broughtfrom the wildernesswith menof the commonsort.And they putbraceletson the handsof the women and beautifulcrownson their heads.
