The kingsaidto the manof God,"Pleaseentreatthe LORDyour God,and prayfor me, that my handmay be restoredto me." So the manof Godentreatedthe LORD,and the king'shandwas restoredto him, and it becameas it was before.
He pourscontemptupon princesAnd makes them wanderin a pathlesswaste.
"Nowtherefore, pleaseforgivemy sinonlythisonce,and makesupplicationto the LORDyour God,that He would onlyremovethisdeathfrom me."
Then the LORDdidso.And there camegreatswarmsof insects into the houseof Pharaohand the housesof his servantsand the landwas laidwastebecauseof the swarmsof insects in allthe landof Egypt.
"The Nilewill swarmwith frogs,which will comeup and gointo your houseand into your bedroomand on your bed,and into the housesof your servantsand on your people,and into your ovensand into your kneadingbowls.
Then the LORDsaidto Moses,"Sayto Aaron,Stretchout your handwith your staffoverthe rivers,overthe streamsand overthe pools,and make frogscomeup on the landof Egypt.'"
"Makesupplicationto the LORD,for there has been enoughof God'sthunderand hail;and I will letyou go,and you shall staynolonger."
The princesof Zoanare merefools;The adviceof Pharaoh'swisestadvisershas becomestupid.Howcan you [men] sayto Pharaoh,"I am a sonof the wise,a sonof ancientkings"?
The LORDwill strikeEgypt,strikingbut healing;so they will returnto the LORD,and He will respondto them and will healthem.
The LORDof hostshas plannedit, to defilethe prideof allbeauty,To despiseallthe honoredof the earth.
"NowI, Nebuchadnezzar,praise,exaltand honorthe Kingof heaven,for allHis worksare true and His waysjust,and He is ableto humblethose whowalkin pride."
So the peoplecameto Mosesand said,"We have sinned,becausewe have spokenagainst the LORDand you; intercedewith the LORD,that He may removethe serpentsfrom us." And Mosesintercededfor the people.
