"You dividedthe seabeforethem, So they passedthrough the midstof the seaon dryground;And their pursuersYou hurledinto the depths,Likea stoneinto ragingwaters.
"Rememberthat you should exaltHis work,Of whichmenhave sung.
And He broughtforthHis peoplewith joy,His chosenoneswith a joyfulshout.
Then they believedHis words;They sangHis praise.
Let them givethanksto the LORDfor His lovingkindness,And for His wondersto the sonsof men!
You are my hidingplace;You preserveme from trouble;You surroundme with songsof deliverance.Selah.
At Your rebuke,O Godof Jacob,Both riderand horsewere castinto a deadsleep.
You, even You, are to be feared;And whomay standin Your presencewhenonceYou are angry?
Then the LORDsaidto Moses,"Stretchout your handoverthe seaso that the watersmay comebackoverthe Egyptians,overtheir chariotsand their horsemen."
So Mosesstretchedout his handoverthe sea,and the seareturnedto its normalstateat daybreak,while the Egyptianswere fleeingrightinto it; then the LORDoverthrewthe Egyptiansin the midstof the sea.
Miriamansweredthem, "Singto the LORD,for He is highlyexalted;The horseand his riderHe has hurledinto the sea."
"NowI knowthat the LORDis greaterthanallthe gods;indeed,it was provenwhenthey dealtproudlyagainstthe people."
By transgressionan evilmanis ensnared,But the righteoussingsand rejoices.
Singto the LORDa newsong,[Sing] His praisefrom the endof the earth!You who godownto the sea,and allthat is in it. You islands,and those who dwellon them.
"With you I shatterthe horseand his rider,And with you I shatterthe chariotand its rider,
"For I will removethe namesof the Baalsfrom her mouth,So that they will be mentionedby their namesnomore.
Yet I will exultin the LORD,I will rejoicein the Godof my salvation.
ThenIsraelsangthissong:"Springup, O well!Singto it!
When He had disarmedthe rulersand authorities,He madea publicdisplayof them, having triumphed overthem throughHim.
And they sangthe songof Moses,the bond-servantof God,and the songof the Lamb,saying,"Greatand marvelousare Your works,O LordGod,the Almighty;Righteousand true are Your ways,Kingof the nations!
