The sonsof Israelwentthroughthe midstof the seaon the dryland,and the waters[were like] a wallto them on their righthandand on their left.
He tookthe mantleof Elijahthat fellfrom him and struckthe watersand said,"Whereis the LORD,the Godof Elijah?"And when he alsohad struckthe waters,they were dividedhereand there;and Elishacrossedover.
Elijahtookhis mantleand foldedit togetherand struckthe waters,and they were dividedhereand there,so that the twoof them crossedoveron dryground.
"You dividedthe seabeforethem, So they passedthrough the midstof the seaon dryground;And their pursuersYou hurledinto the depths,Likea stoneinto ragingwaters.
Thus He rebukedthe RedSeaand it driedup, And He ledthem through the deeps,as through the wilderness.
To Him who dividedthe RedSeaasunder,For His lovingkindnessis everlasting,
And made Israelpassthrough the midstof it, For His lovingkindnessis everlasting;
He turnedthe seainto dryland;They passedthrough the riveron foot;Therelet us rejoicein Him!
You brokeopenspringsand torrents;You driedup ever-flowingstreams.
He dividedthe seaand caused them to passthrough,And He made the watersstandup likea heap.
But the sonsof Israelwalkedon drylandthrough the midstof the sea,and the waters[were like] a wallto them on their righthandand on their left.
For the horsesof Pharaohwith his chariotsand his horsemenwentinto the sea,and the LORDbroughtbackthe watersof the seaon them, but the sonsof Israelwalkedon drylandthrough the midstof the sea.
"At the blastof Your nostrilsthe waterswere piledup, The flowingwatersstoodup likea heap;The deepswere congealedin the heartof the sea.
And the LORDwill utterlydestroyThe tongueof the Seaof Egypt;And He will waveHis handoverthe RiverWith His scorchingwind;And He will strikeit into sevenstreamsAnd make [men] walkover dry-shod.
And there will be a highwayfrom AssyriaFor the remnantof His peoplewhowill be left,Justas there was for IsraelIn the daythat they cameup out of the landof Egypt.
Thussaysthe LORD,Who makesa waythrough the seaAnd a paththrough the mightywaters,
Was it not You who driedup the sea,The watersof the greatdeep;Who madethe depthsof the seaa pathwayFor the redeemedto crossover?
Who caused His gloriousarmto goat the righthandof Moses,Who dividedthe watersbeforethem to makefor Himself an everlastingname,
Who ledthem through the depths?Like the horsein the wilderness,they did not stumble;
For I,' declaresthe LORD,will be a wallof firearoundher, and I will be the gloryin her midst.'"
They journeyedfrom beforeHahirothand passedthrough the midstof the seainto the wilderness;and they wentthreedays'journeyin the wildernessof Ethamand campedat Marah.
For I do not wantyou to be unaware,brethren,that our fatherswere allunderthe cloudand allpassed throughthe sea;
By faiththey passed throughthe RedSeaas though[they were passing] throughdryland;and the Egyptians,when they attemptedit, were drowned.
the waterswhich were flowingdownfrom abovestood[and] roseup in oneheap,a greatdistanceaway at Adam,the citythat is besideZarethan;and those which were flowingdowntowardthe seaof the Arabah,the SaltSea,were completelycutoff.So the peoplecrossedoppositeJericho.
And the priestswho carriedthe arkof the covenantof the LORDstoodfirmon drygroundin the middleof the Jordanwhile allIsraelcrossedon dryground,untilallthe nationhad finishedcrossingthe Jordan.
then you shall informyour children,saying,'IsraelcrossedthisJordanon dryground.'
"They were a wallto us bothby nightand by day,allthe timewe were with them tendingthe sheep.
