Moreover those who were nearto them, [even] as faras Issacharand Zebulunand Naphtali,broughtfoodon donkeys,camels,mulesand on oxen,greatquantitiesof flourcakes,figcakesand bunchesof raisins,wine,oil,oxenand sheep.There was joyindeedin Israel.
Now when Davidhad passeda littlebeyondthe summit,behold,Zibathe servantof Mephiboshethmethim with a coupleof saddleddonkeys,and on them [were] twohundredloaves of bread,a hundredclustersof raisins,a hundredsummerfruits,and a jugof wine.
Allthe peoplewentup afterhim, and the peoplewere playingon flutesand rejoicingwith greatjoy,so that the earthshookat their noise.
So allthe peopleof the landrejoicedand the citywas quiet.For they had putAthaliahto deathwith the swordat the king'shouse.
They were therewith Davidthreedays,eatingand drinking,for their kinsmenhad preparedfor them.
Then Davidconsultedwith the captainsof the thousandsand the hundreds,even with everyleader.
So they ateand drankthat daybeforethe LORDwith greatgladness.And they madeSolomonthe sonof Davidkinga secondtime,and they anointed[him] as rulerfor the LORDand Zadokas priest.
When it goes wellwith the righteous,the cityrejoices,And when the wickedperish,there is joyfulshouting.
When the righteousincrease,the peoplerejoice,But when a wickedmanrules,peoplegroan.
Then the LORDsaidto me, "Goagain,lovea woman[who] is lovedby [her] husband,yet an adulteress,even as the LORDlovesthe sonsof Israel,though they turnto othergodsand loveraisincakes."
Then Abigailhurriedand tooktwo hundred[loaves] of breadand twojugsof wineand fivesheepalready preparedand fivemeasuresof roastedgrainand a hundredclustersof raisinsand two hundredcakesof figs,and loaded[them] on donkeys.
