Isaiah 53:10 - The Scriptures 2009

But יהוה was pleased to crush Him, He laid sickness on Him, that when He made Himself an offering for guilt, He would see a seed, He would prolong His days and the pleasure of יהוה prosper in His hand.

יהוה takes pleasure in those who fear Him, In those who wait for His loving-commitment.


For יהוה takes pleasure in His people; He embellishes the meek ones with deliverance.


He asked life from You, and You gave it to him – Length of days forever and ever.


A seed shall serve Him. It is declared of יהוה to the coming generation.


They shall come and declare His righteousness To a people yet to be born, For He shall do it!


For they persecute him whom You have stricken, And talk about the pain of those You have wounded.


Let His Name be forever, His Name continue before the sun; And let them bless themselves in Him; Let all nations call Him blessed.


Let the righteous flourish in His days, With plenty of peace, Till the moon is no more.

“See, My Servant whom I uphold, My Chosen One My being has delighted in! I have put My Spirit upon Him; He brings forth right-ruling to the nations.

And I said, ‘I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for emptiness, and in vain. But my right-ruling is with יהוה, and my work with my Elohim.’ ”


Therefore I give Him a portion among the great, and He divides the spoil with the strong, because He poured out His being unto death, and He was counted with the transgressors, and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.


“For you shall break forth to the right and to the left, and your seed inherit the nations, and make the deserted cities inhabited.


“And their seed shall be known among the nations, and their offspring in the midst of the peoples. All who see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed יהוה has blessed.”


“For as the new heavens and the new earth that I make stand before Me,” declares יהוה, “so your seed and your name shall stand.


Of the increase of His rule and peace there is no end, upon the throne of Dawiḏ and over His reign, to establish it and sustain it with right-ruling and with righteousness from now on, even forever. The ardour of יהוה of hosts does this.


And I shall rejoice over them to do good to them, and shall plant them in this land in truth, with all My heart and with all My being.’


“Say to them, ‘As I live,’ declares the Master יהוה, ‘I have no pleasure in the death of the wrong, but that the wrong turn from his way and live. Turn back, turn back from your evil ways! For why should you die, O house of Yisra’ĕl?’


“And they shall dwell in the land that I have given to Ya‛aqoḇ My servant, where your fathers dwelt. And they shall dwell in it, they and their children and their children’s children, forever, and My servant Dawiḏ be their prince forever.


“Seventy weeks are decreed for your people and for your set-apart city, to put an end to the transgression, and to seal up sins, and to cover crookedness, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up vision and prophet, and to anoint the Most Set-apart.


Who is an Ěl like You – taking away crookedness and passing over the transgression of the remnant of His inheritance? He shall not retain His wrath forever, for He Himself delights in loving-commitment.


“יהוה your Elohim in your midst, is mighty to save. He rejoices over you with joy, He is silent in His love, He rejoices over you with singing.”


“O sword, awake against My Shepherd, against the Man who is My Companion,” declares יהוה of hosts. “Strike the Shepherd, and let the sheep be scattered. But I shall turn My hand upon the little ones.


one young bull, one ram, one male lamb a year old, as an ascending offering;


While he was still speaking, see, a bright cloud overshadowed them. And see, a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My Son, the Beloved, in whom I did delight. Hear Him!”


and see, a voice out of the heavens, saying, “This is My Son, the Beloved, in whom I delight.”


“And He shall reign over the house of Ya‛aqoḇ forever, and there shall be no end to His reign.”


On the next day Yoḥanan saw יהושע coming toward him, and said, “See, the Lamb of Elohim who takes away the sin of the world!


“Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone. But if it dies, it bears much fruit.


“If Elohim has been esteemed in Him, Elohim shall also esteem Him in Himself, and straightaway esteem Him.


knowing that Messiah, having been raised from the dead, dies no more – death no longer rules over Him.


Truly, He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up on behalf of us all – how shall He not, along with Him, freely give us all else?


and those who are in the flesh are unable to please Elohim.


For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of Elohim.


Messiah redeemed us from the curse of the Torah, having become a curse for us – for it has been written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs upon a tree.” –


having previously ordained us to adoption as sons through יהושע Messiah to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His desire,


having made known to us the secret of His desire, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Him,


And walk in love, as Messiah also has loved us, and gave Himself for us, a gift and an offering to Elohim for a sweet-smelling fragrance.


To this end we always pray for you that our Elohim would count you worthy of this calling, and complete all the good pleasure of goodness, and the work of belief with power,


And again, “I shall put My trust in Him.” And again, “See, I and the children whom Elohim gave Me.”


who does not need, as those high priests, to offer up slaughter offerings day by day, first for His own sins and then for those of the people, for this He did once for all when He offered up Himself.


how much more shall the blood of the Messiah, who through the everlasting Spirit offered Himself unblemished to Elohim, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living Elohim?


who Himself bore our sins in His body on the timber, so that we, having died to sins, might live unto righteousness – by whose stripes you were healed.


and the living One. And I became dead, and see, I am living forever and ever. Amĕn. And I possess the keys of She’ol and of Death.
