They fell flat on their face, and said: O most mighty, the God of the spirits of all flesh, for one man's sin shall thy wrath rage against all?
And Jesus crying out with a loud voice, said: Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit. And saying this, he gave up the ghost.
And he said to them: Why are you troubled, and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?
And when he had said this, he shewed them his hands and his side. The disciples therefore were glad, when they saw the Lord.

To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion, by many proofs, for forty days appearing to them, and speaking of the kingdom of God.
