For YHWH’s eyes run back and forth throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. You have done foolishly in this; for from now on you will have wars.”
God gives them security, and they rest in it. His eyes are on their ways.
YHWH has established ʜɪꜱ throne in the heavens. Hɪꜱ kingdom rules over all.
YHWH looked down from heaven on the children of humanity, to see if there were any who understood, who seek after God.
In my distress I called on YHWH, and to my God I cried. Hᴇ heard my voice from ʜɪꜱ temple. My cry came before ʜɪᴍ into ʜɪꜱ ears.
Hᴇ rules by ʜɪꜱ might forever. Hɪꜱ eyes watch the nations. Don’t let the rebellious rise up against ʜɪᴍ. Selah.
Y’all sing praises to YHWH, who dwells in Zion, y’all declare among the people what ʜᴇ has done.
YHWH says: “Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. What kind of house will y’all build to me? Where will I rest?
“I, YHWH, search the heart. I examine the mind, to give every person according to their ways, according to the fruits of their actions.”
Can anyone hide himself in secret places so that I can’t see him?” says YHWH. “Don’t I fill heaven and earth?” says YHWH.
Listen, all y’all peoples! Listen, O earth, and all that is therein. Let Lord YHWH be witness against y’all, the Lord from ʜɪꜱ holy temple.
But YHWH is in ʜɪꜱ holy temple. Let all the earth be silent before ʜɪᴍ!”
Be silent, all flesh, before YHWH; for ʜᴇ has roused himself from ʜɪꜱ holy habitation!”
And whoever swears by the temple, swears by it and by the one who dwells in it.
but I tell y’all, don’t swear at all: either by heaven, for it is the throne of God;
‘Heaven is my throne, and the earth a footstool for my feet. What kind of house will y’all build me?’ says the Lord. ‘Or what will be my resting place?
He opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes a seat in God’s temple, setting himself up as God.
No creature is hidden from ʜɪꜱ sight, but all things are naked and laid bare before the eyes of ʜɪᴍ to whom we must give an account.
Immediately I was in the Spirit. And look! There was a throne in heaven, and someone was sitting on it.
