Psalm 11 - Y'all Version BibleFor the music director. By David. 1 In YHWH, I take refuge. How can y’all say to my soul, “Y’all should flee like a bird to a mountain”? 2 For look, the wicked bend their bows. They set their arrows on the strings, that they may shoot in darkness at the upright in heart. 3 If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do? 4 YHWH is in ʜɪꜱ holy temple. YHWH is on ʜɪꜱ throne in heaven. Hɪꜱ eyes observe. Hɪꜱ eyelids squint to examine the children of humankind. 5 YHWH examines the righteous, but ʜɪꜱ soul hates the wicked and the one who loves violence. 6 On the wicked ʜᴇ will rain burning coals and brimstone, a scorching wind will be the portion in their cup. 7 For YHWH is righteous. Hᴇ loves righteousness. The upright will see ʜɪꜱ face. |
