King Achaz commanded Uriyahu the Kohen, saying, On the great altar burn the morning burnt offering, and the evening meal offering, and the king's burnt offering, and his meal offering, with the burnt offering of all the people of the land, and their meal offering, and their drink offerings; and sprinkle on it all the blood of the burnt offering, and all the blood of the sacrifice: but the bronze altar shall be for me to inquire by.


Thus did Uriyahu the Kohen, according to all that king Achaz commanded.


But the midwives feared God, and didn't do what the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the baby boys alive.

But Kefa and the emissaries answered, *We must obey God rather than men.


I speak as to wise men. Judge what I say.


But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by the manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.


Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.


For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior;


By faith, Moshe, when he was born, was hidden for three months by his parents, because they saw that he was a beautiful child, and they were not afraid of the king's mitzvah.
