The Lord spoke the command,\par and the world was made.\par The breath from God’s mouth\par created everything on earth.\par
Why? Because God just gives a command,\par and that thing happens.\par And if he says, “Stop!”\par then that thing will stop. {\cf2\super [207]} \par
Look up to the skies.\par Who created all those stars?\par Who created all those ‘armies’\par \{in the sky\}?\par Who knows every star by name?\par \{The true God\} is very strong and powerful,\par so none of these stars is lost.”\par
\{The Lord says,\}\par “Tell this message to those people:\par ‘Those false gods did not make\par heaven and earth.\par And those false gods will be destroyed\par and disappear from heaven and earth.’” {\cf2\super [81]} \par
But Jacob’s God {\cf2\super [83]} is not like those idols.\par God made everything.\par And Israel is the family that God chose to be his own people.\par God’s name is “Lord All-Powerful.”\par
All things were made through him (the Word). Nothing was made without him.
“Men, why are you doing these things? We are not gods! We have the same feelings as you have! We came to tell you the Good News. {\cf2\super [290]} We are telling you to turn away from these worthless things. Turn to the true living God. He is the One who made the sky, the earth, the sea, and everything that is in them.
He is the God who made the whole world and everything in it. He is the Lord (Ruler) of the land and the sky. He does not live in temples {\cf2\super [356]} that men build!
Like it is written \{in the Scriptures {\cf2\super [43]} \} “I have made you (Abraham) a father of many nations.” {\cf2\super [44]} This is true before God. Abraham believed in God—the God who gives life to dead people and decides that things will happen that have not yet happened.
But we speak God’s secret wisdom. This wisdom has been hidden \{from people\}. God planned this wisdom for our glory. He planned it before the world began.
Everything God made is made holy (pure) by what God has said and by prayer.
And now in these last days God has spoken to us again. God has spoken to us through his Son. God made the whole world through his Son. And God has chosen his Son to have all things.
But those people don’t want to remember what happened long ago. The skies were there, and God made the earth from water and with water. All this happened by God’s word.
“Our Lord and God!\par You are worthy to receive glory and\par honor and power.\par You made all things.\par Everything existed and was made\par because you wanted it.”\par
