and he said to them, ‘Can we find anyone like this, a man who has God’s spirit in him? ’
Moses said to Joshua, ‘Select some men for us and go and fight against Amalek. Tomorrow I will stand on the hilltop with God’s staff in my hand.’
I’ve heard that you have a spirit of the gods in you, and that insight, intelligence, and extraordinary wisdom are found in you.

The Lord commissioned Joshua son of Nun, ‘Be strong and courageous, for you will bring the Israelites into the land I swore to them, and I will be with you.’
The Lord your God is the one who will cross ahead of you. He will destroy these nations before you, and you will drive them out. Joshua is the one who will cross ahead of you, as the Lord has said.
Joshua son of Nun was filled with the spirit of wisdom because Moses had laid his hands on him. So the Israelites obeyed him and did as the Lord had commanded Moses.
Don’t neglect the gift that is in you; it was given to you through prophecy, with the laying on of hands by the council of elders.
Don’t be too quick to appoint , anyone as an elder, and don’t share in the sins of others. Keep yourself pure.
