and Jacob fathered Joseph the husband of Mary, who gave birth to Jesus who is called the Messiah.

Others said, ‘This is the Messiah.’ But some said, ‘Surely the Messiah doesn’t come from Galilee, does he?
He sent the message to the Israelites, proclaiming the good news of peace through Jesus Christ #– #he is Lord of all.
‘From this man’s descendants, as he promised, God brought to Israel the Saviour, Jesus.
explaining and proving that it was necessary for the Messiah to suffer and rise from the dead: ‘This Jesus I am proclaiming to you is the Messiah.’
‘Therefore let all the house of Israel know with certainty that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.’
God exalted this man to his right hand as ruler and Saviour, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.
The first man was from the earth, a man of dust; the second man is from heaven.
and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
More than that, I also consider everything to be a loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. Because of him I have suffered the loss of all things and consider them as dung, so that I may gain Christ
So then, just as you have received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to walk in him,
And we have seen and we testify that the Father has sent his Son as the world’s Saviour.
Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father also loves the one born of him.
