Simon Peter answered, ‘You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.’


Then he gave the disciples orders to tell no one that he was  the Messiah.


After they were gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, ‘Get up! Take the child and his mother, flee to Egypt, and stay there until I tell you. For Herod is about to search for the child to kill him.’


So when they had gathered together, Pilate said to them, ‘Who is it you want me to release for you #– #Barabbas, or Jesus who is called Christ? ’


Pilate asked them, ‘What should I do then with Jesus, who is called Christ? ’ They all answered, ‘Crucify him! ’


Isn’t this the carpenter,  the son of Mary,  and the brother of James,  Joses, Judas,  and Simon? And aren’t his sisters here with us? ’ So they were offended  by him.

When his parents saw him, they were astonished, and his mother said to him,  ‘Son, why have you treated us like this? Your father and I have been anxiously searching for you.’


Then she gave birth to her firstborn son, and she wrapped him tightly in cloth and laid him in a manger,  because there was no guest room available for them.


As he began his ministry, Jesus was about thirty years old and was thought to be the son of Joseph,  son of Heli,


They were all speaking well of him  and were amazed by the gracious words that came from his mouth; yet they said, ‘Isn’t this Joseph’s son? ’


The woman said to him, ‘I know that the Messiah  is coming’ (who is called Christ  ). ‘When he comes, he will explain everything to us.’
