House of Jacob, come and let’s walk in the  Lord’s light.


and many nations will come and say, ‘Come, let’s go up to the mountain of the  Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us about his ways So that we may walk in his paths.’ For instruction will go out of Zion and the word of the  Lord from Jerusalem.


‘The one who welcomes you welcomes me,   and the one who welcomes me welcomes him who sent me.


Truly I tell you, whoever receives anyone I send receives me, and the one who receives   me receives him who sent me.’


Jesus told him, ‘I am   the way,   the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.


It is from him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became wisdom from God for us #– #our righteousness,  sanctification,  and redemption   #– #


For we walk by faith,  not by sight.


I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.  The life I now live in the body,  I live by faith in the Son of God,  who loved  me  and gave himself  for me.


for through faith you are all sons of God in Christ Jesus.


Therefore I, the prisoner in the Lord,  urge you to walk worthy of the calling you have received,


Just one thing: As citizens of heaven, live your life  worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or am absent, I will hear about you that you are standing firm  in one  spirit, in one accord,  contending together for the faith  of the gospel,


so that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work  and growing in the knowledge of God,


And whatever you do, in word or in deed, do everything in the name  of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.


Additionally then, brothers and sisters, we ask and encourage you in the Lord Jesus, that as you have received instruction from us on how you should live and please God #– #as you are doing   #– #do this even more.


For we have become participants in Christ if we hold firmly until the end the reality  that we had at the start.


The one who says he remains in him  should walk just as he walked.


And we know that the Son of God has come  and has given us understanding so that we may know the true one.  We are in the true one #– #that is, in his Son, Jesus Christ.  He is the true God and eternal life.


Dear friends, although I was eager to write to you about the salvation we share,  I found it necessary to write, appealing to you to contend for the faith  that was delivered  to the saints once for all.
