Then Micaiah said, ‘Therefore, hear the word of the Lord: I saw the Lord sitting on his throne,  and the whole heavenly army  was standing by him at his right hand and at his left hand.


Azariah rested with his ancestors and was buried with his ancestors in the city of David. His son Jotham became king in his place.


Then Micaiah said, ‘Therefore, hear the word of the Lord. I saw the Lord sitting on his throne, and the whole heavenly army was standing at his right hand and at his left hand.


I had heard reports about you, but now my eyes  have seen you.


Then Moses went up with Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of Israel’s elders,


The vision  concerning Judah and Jerusalem that Isaiah  son of Amoz saw during the reigns  of Kings Uzziah,  Jotham,  Ahaz,  and Hezekiah  of Judah.


and on that day you will say, ‘Give thanks to the Lord; proclaim his name! Make his works known among the peoples. Declare that his name is exalted.


For the High and Exalted One, who lives for ever, whose name is holy,  says this: ‘I live in a high and holy place, and with the oppressed and lowly of spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and revive the heart of the oppressed.


This is what the Lord says: Heaven  is my throne, and earth is my footstool. Where could you possibly build a house for me? And where would my resting place be?


In the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, on the fifth day of the month, while I was among the exiles by the Chebar Canal,  the heavens were opened  and I saw visions of God.


Then I looked, and there above the expanse over the heads  of the cherubim was something like a throne with the appearance of lapis lazuli.


Then the glory of the Lord rose from above the cherub to the threshold of the temple.  The temple was filled with the cloud,  and the court was filled with the brightness of the Lord’s glory.


How can someone like me,  your servant,  speak with someone like you, my lord? Now I have no strength, and there is no breath in me.’


‘As I kept watching, thrones were set in place, and the Ancient of Days took his seat. His clothing was white like snow, and the hair of his head like whitest wool. His throne was flaming fire; its wheels were blazing fire.


I speak with him   directly, openly, and not in riddles; he sees the form of the  Lord. So why were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses? ’


‘When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels   , with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne.


No one has ever seen God. The one and only  Son, who is himself God and is at the Father’s  side   #– #he has revealed him.


Isaiah said these things because  he saw his glory  and spoke about him.


who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light,  whom no one has seen or can see,  to him be honour and eternal power.  Amen.


Then the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from his power,  and no one could enter the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.


Then I saw a great white throne and one seated on it. Earth and heaven fled from his presence, and no place was found for them.


‘To the one who conquers I will give the right to sit with me on my throne,   just as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.


the twenty-four elders fall down before the one seated on the throne  and worship the one who lives for ever and ever. They cast their crowns before the throne and say,


Immediately I was in the Spirit,  and there was a throne in heaven  and someone was seated on it.


The one seated  there had the appearance of jasper and carnelian stone.  A rainbow that had the appearance of an emerald surrounded the throne.


Whenever the living creatures give glory, honour, and thanks to the one seated on the throne, the one who lives for ever and ever,


Then I saw in the right hand of the one seated on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides, sealed with seven seals.


He went and took the scroll out of the right hand of the one seated on the throne.


And they said to the mountains and to the rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us  from the face of the one seated on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb,
