17 Inclineyour earand hearthe wordsof the wise,And applyyour mindto my knowledge;
18 For it will be pleasantifyou keepthem withinyou, That they may be readyon your lips.
19 So that your trustmay be in the LORD,I have taughtyou today,evenyou.
20 Have I not writtento you excellentthingsOf counselsand knowledge,
21 To make you knowthe certaintyof the wordsof truthThat you may correctlyanswerhim who sentyou?
22 Do not robthe poorbecausehe is poor,Or crushthe afflictedat the gate;
