Oh,the depthof the richesbothof the wisdomand knowledgeof God!Howunsearchableare His judgmentsand unfathomableHis ways!
But the plotbecame knownto Mordecaiand he toldQueenEsther,and Estherinformedthe kingin Mordecai'sname.
Yet thesethingsYou have concealedin Your heart;I knowthat thisis withinYou:
"Do you hearthe secretcounselof God,And limitwisdomto yourself?
"For He performswhatis appointedfor me, And manysuch[decrees] are with Him.
"Behold,theseare the fringesof His ways;And howfainta wordwe hearof Him! But His mightythunder,whocan understand?"
"Whydo you complainagainstHim That He does not givean accountof allHis doings?
"Teachus whatwe shall sayto Him; We cannotarrange[our case] becauseof darkness.
"The Almighty--we cannotfindHim; He is exaltedin powerAnd He will not doviolenceto justiceand abundantrighteousness.
Who doesgreatand unsearchablethings,Wonderswithoutnumber.
Who doesgreatthings,unfathomable,And wondrousworkswithoutnumber.
[Such] knowledgeis toowonderfulfor me; It is [too] high,I cannotattain to it.
Greatis the LORD,and highlyto be praised,And His greatnessis unsearchable.
Your righteousnessis like the mountainsof God;Your judgmentsare [like] a greatdeep.O LORD,You preservemanand beast.
Many,O LORDmy God,are the wonderswhich You have done,And Your thoughtstowardus; Thereis noneto comparewith You. If I would declareand speakof them, They would be toonumerousto count.
Your waywas in the seaAnd Your pathsin the mightywaters,And Your footprintsmay not be known.
Howgreatare Your works,O LORD!Your thoughtsare verydeep.
Cloudsand thickdarknesssurroundHim; Righteousnessand justiceare the foundationof His throne.
It is the gloryof Godto conceala matter,But the gloryof kingsis to searchout a matter.
[As] the heavensfor heightand the earthfor depth,So the heartof kingsis unsearchable.
He has madeeverythingappropriatein its time.He has alsoseteternityin their heart,yetsothat manwill not findout the workwhichGodhas donefrom the beginningeven to the end.
Whathas beenis remoteand exceedinglymysterious.Whocan discoverit?
and I saweveryworkof God,[I concluded] that mancannotdiscoverthe workwhichhas been doneunderthe sun.Even thoughmanshould seeklaboriously,he will not discover;and thoughthe wisemanshould say,"I know,"he cannotdiscover.
Thisalsocomesfrom the LORDof hosts,[Who] has made[His] counselwonderfuland [His] wisdomgreat.
Do you not know?Have you not heard?The EverlastingGod,the LORD,the Creatorof the endsof the earthDoes not becomewearyor tired.His understandingis inscrutable.
"Allthe inhabitantsof the earthare accountedas nothing,But He doesaccordingto His willin the hostof heavenAnd [among] the inhabitantsof earth;And noone can wardoffHis handOr sayto Him, 'Whathave You done?'
Ordo you think lightlyof the richesof His kindnessand toleranceand patience,not knowingthat the kindnessof Godleadsyou to repentance?
And [He did so] to make knownthe richesof His gloryupon vesselsof mercy,whichHe prepared beforehandfor glory,
For to us Godrevealed[them] throughthe Spirit;for the Spiritsearchesall things,eventhe depthsof God.
In Him we haveredemptionthroughHis blood,the forgivenessof our trespasses,accordingto the richesof His grace
sothat in the agesto comeHe might showthe surpassingrichesof His gracein kindnesstowardus in ChristJesus.
sothat the manifoldwisdomof Godmight nowbe made knownthroughthe churchto the rulersand the authoritiesin the heavenly[places].
that He would grantyou, accordingto the richesof His glory,to be strengthenedwith powerthroughHis Spiritin the innerman,
may be ableto comprehendwith allthe saintswhatis the breadthand lengthand heightand depth,
To me, the very leastof allsaints,thisgracewas given,to preachto the Gentilesthe unfathomablerichesof Christ,
to whomGodwilledto make knownwhatis the richesof the gloryof thismysteryamongthe Gentiles,whichis Christin you, the hopeof glory.
