For I do not wantyou, brethren,to be uninformedof thismystery--sothat you will not be wisein your own estimation--that a partialhardeninghas happenedto Israeluntilthe fullnessof the Gentileshas comein;
and they will fallby the edgeof the sword,and will be led captiveinto allthe nations;and Jerusalemwill be trampled underfoot by the Gentilesuntilthe timesof the Gentilesare fulfilled.
Nowto Him who is ableto establishyou accordingto my gospeland the preachingof JesusChrist,accordingto the revelationof the mysterywhich has been kept secretfor long agespast,
Be of the samemindtowardone another;do not be haughtyin mind,but associatewith the lowly.Do not be wisein your own estimation.
but in the daysof the voiceof the seventhangel,whenhe is aboutto sound,thenthe mysteryof Godis finished,as He preachedto His servantsthe prophets.
Afterthese thingsI looked,and behold,a greatmultitudewhichno onecouldcount,from everynationand [all] tribesand peoplesand tongues,standingbeforethe throneand beforethe Lamb,clothedin whiterobes,and palm branches[were] in their hands;
and to bring to lightwhatis the administrationof the mysterywhich for ageshas been hiddenin Godwho createdall things;
Allthe endsof the earthwill rememberand turnto the LORD,And allthe familiesof the nationswill worshipbeforeYou.
Thenthe seventhangelsounded;and there were loudvoicesin heaven,saying,"The kingdomof the worldhas become[the kingdom] of our Lordand of His Christ;and He will reignforeverand ever."
But do not let thisone[fact] escape your notice,beloved,that with the Lordonedayis likea thousandyears,and a thousandyearslikeoneday.
For I do not wantyou to be unaware,brethren,that our fatherswere allunderthe cloudand allpassed throughthe sea;
I do not wantyou to be unaware,brethren,that oftenI have plannedto cometo you (and have been preventedsofar)sothat I may obtainsomefruitamongyou also,evenas amongthe restof the Gentiles.
Whoeveris wise,let him understandthesethings;[Whoever] is discerning,let him knowthem. For the waysof the LORDare right,And the righteouswill walkin them, But transgressorswill stumblein them.
Woeto those whoare wisein their own eyesAnd cleverin their own sight!
May his nameendureforever;May his nameincreaseas longas the sun[shines]; And let [men] blessthemselves by him; Let allnationscallhim blessed.
Nowconcerningspiritual[gifts], brethren,I do not wantyou to be unaware.
The sluggardis wiserin his own eyesThansevenmen who can givea discreetanswer.
Do you seea manwisein his own eyes?There is morehopefor a foolthanfor him.
Unlessthe LORDbuildsthe house,They laborin vainwho buildit; Unlessthe LORDguardsthe city,The watchmankeepsawakein vain.
Whois wise?Let him giveheedto thesethings,And considerthe lovingkindnessesof the LORD.
Jesus answeredthem, "To you it has been grantedto knowthe mysteriesof the kingdomof heaven,but to them it has not been granted.
"I haveothersheep,whichare not of thisfold;I mustbringthem also,and they will hearMy voice;and they will becomeoneflock[with] oneshepherd.
So thenHe has mercyon whomHe desires,and He hardenswhomHe desires.
Nowiftheir transgressionis richesfor the worldand their failureis richesfor the Gentiles,how muchmorewill their fulfillmentbe!
For ifyou were cut offfrom whatis by naturea wild olive tree,and were graftedcontraryto natureinto a cultivated olive tree,how muchmorewill thesewhoare the natural[branches] be graftedinto their ownolive tree?
but we speakGod'swisdomin a mystery,the hidden[wisdom] whichGodpredestinedbeforethe agesto our glory;
Let a manregardus in this manner,as servantsof Christand stewardsof the mysteriesof God.
He made knownto us the mysteryof His will, accordingto His kind intentionwhichHe purposedin Him
beingdarkenedin their understanding,excludedfrom the lifeof Godbecauseof the ignorancethat is in them, becauseof the hardnessof their heart;
"As for the mysteryof the sevenstarswhichyou sawin My right hand,and the sevengoldenlampstands:the sevenstarsare the angelsof the sevenchurches,and the sevenlampstandsare the sevenchurches.
