Then Asacalledto the LORDhis Godand said,"LORD,thereis noonebesidesYou to help[in the battle] betweenthe powerfuland those who havenostrength;so helpus, O LORDour God,for we trustin You, and in Your namehave comeagainstthismultitude.O LORD,You are our God;let not manprevailagainstYou."
Arise,O LORD;O God,liftup Your hand.Do not forgetthe afflicted.
To executevengeanceon the nationsAnd punishmenton the peoples,

Pourout Your wrathupon the nationswhichdo not knowYou, And upon the kingdomswhichdo not callupon Your name.

Let the nationsbe arousedAnd comeup to the valleyof Jehoshaphat,For thereI will sitto judgeAllthe surroundingnations.

Ifthe familyof Egyptdoes not goup or enter,then no[rain will fall] on them; it will be the plaguewith whichthe LORDsmitesthe nationswhodo not goup to celebratethe Feastof Booths.
From His mouthcomesa sharpsword,sothat with it He may strike downthe nations,and He will rulethem with a rodof iron;and He treadsthe winepressof the fiercewrathof God,the Almighty.
