For I have heardthe whisperingof many,"Terroron everyside!Denounce[him]; yes, let us denouncehim!" Allmy trustedfriends,Watchingfor my fall,say: "Perhapshe will be deceived,so that we may prevailagainst him And takeour revengeon him."
He leadsthe humblein justice,And He teachesthe humbleHis way.
Sothey watchedHim, and sentspieswho pretendedto be righteous,in orderthat they might catchHim in some statement,sothat they [could] deliverHim to the ruleand the authorityof the governor.
"They are allstraightforwardto him who understands,And rightto those who findknowledge.
Whois the manwho fearsthe LORD?He will instructhim in the wayhe should choose.
The wayof the lazyis as a hedgeof thorns,But the pathof the uprightis a highway.
He will recompensethe evilto my foes;Destroythem in Your faithfulness.
Thereis nothingreliablein whatthey say;Their inwardpartis destruction[itself]. Their throatis an opengrave;They flatterwith their tongue.
And seeifthere be any hurtfulwayin me, And leadme in the everlastingway.
