Also the fountainsof the deepand the floodgatesof the skywere closed,and the rainfrom the skywas restrained;
"He wrapsup the watersin His clouds,And the clouddoes not burstunderthem.
"Have you enteredinto the springsof the seaOr walkedin the recessesof the deep?
At Your rebukethey fled,At the soundof Your thunderthey hurriedaway.
Who madeheavenand earth,The seaand allthat is in them; Who keepsfaithforever;
The LORDby wisdomfoundedthe earth,By understandingHe establishedthe heavens.
"When He establishedthe heavens,I was there,When He inscribeda circleon the faceof the deep,
When He setfor the seaits boundarySo that the waterwould not transgressHis command,When He markedout the foundationsof the earth;
He saidto them, "Whyare you afraid,you men of little faith?"ThenHe gotup and rebukedthe windsand the sea,and it becameperfectlycalm.
