"You will treaddownthe wicked,for they will be ashesunderthe solesof your feeton the daywhichI am preparing,"saysthe LORDof hosts.
And I will putenmityBetweenyou and the woman,And betweenyour seedand her seed;He shall bruiseyou on the head,And you shall bruisehim on the heel."
"And I have devouredthem and shatteredthem, so that they did not rise;And they fellundermy feet.
"Then I pulverizedthem as the dustof the earth;I crushed[and] stampedthem as the mireof the streets.
"Lookon everyonewhois proud,[and] humblehim, And treaddownthe wickedwherethey stand.
The LORDsupportsthe afflicted;He bringsdownthe wickedto the ground.
As sheepthey are appointedfor Sheol;Deathshall be their shepherd;And the uprightshall ruleover them in the morning,And their formshall be for Sheolto consumeSothat they have nohabitation.
You will treadupon the lionand cobra,The younglionand the serpentyou will trampledown.
For the handof the LORDwill reston thismountain,And Moabwill be troddendownin his placeAs strawis troddendownin the waterof a manurepile.
"The footwill trampleit, The feetof the afflicted,the stepsof the helpless."
"The Lordhas rejectedallmy strongmenIn my midst;He has calledan appointedtimeagainstme To crushmy youngmen;The Lordhas trodden[as in] a winepressThe virgindaughterof Judah.
"By the multitudeof your iniquities,In the unrighteousnessof your tradeYou profanedyour sanctuaries.Therefore I have broughtfirefrom the midstof you; It has consumedyou, And I have turnedyou to asheson the earthIn the eyesof allwho seeyou.
But the saintsof the HighestOnewill receivethe kingdomand possessthe kingdomforever,for allagesto come.'
Then the sovereignty,the dominionand the greatnessof [all] the kingdomsunderthe wholeheavenwill be givento the peopleof the saintsof the HighestOne;His kingdom[will be] an everlastingkingdom,and allthe dominionswill serveand obeyHim.'
The remnantof JacobWill be among the nations,AmongmanypeoplesLike a lionamong the beastsof the forest,Like a younglionamong flocksof sheep,Which,ifhe passesthrough,Tramplesdownand tears,And thereis noneto rescue.
Then my enemywill see,And shamewill coverher who saidto me, "Whereis the LORDyour God?"My eyeswill lookon her; At that timeshe will be trampleddownLike mireof the streets.
"They will be as mightymen,Treadingdown[the enemy] in the mireof the streetsin battle;And they will fight,for the LORD[will be] with them; And the riderson horseswill be putto shame.
"They will be Mine," saysthe LORDof hosts,"on the daythat I prepare[My] own possession,and I will sparethem as a manspareshis own sonwho serveshim."
The Godof peacewill sooncrushSatanunderyour feet.The graceof our LordJesusbe with you.
Thenthe seventhangelsounded;and there were loudvoicesin heaven,saying,"The kingdomof the worldhas become[the kingdom] of our Lordand of His Christ;and He will reignforeverand ever."
And the winepresswas troddenoutsidethe city,and bloodcameout from the wine press,up to the horses'bridles,for a distanceof twohundred miles.
