who keepslovingkindnessfor thousands,who forgivesiniquity,transgressionand sin;yet He will by nomeansleave[the guilty] unpunished,visitingthe iniquityof fatherson the childrenand on the grandchildrento the thirdand fourthgenerations."
"Comenow,and let us reasontogether," Saysthe LORD,"Thoughyour sinsare as scarlet,They will be as whiteas snow;Thoughthey are redlike crimson,They will be like wool.
"But when the wickedturnsfrom his wickednessand practicesjusticeand righteousness,he will liveby them.
Now whenanyonepresentsa grain offeringas an offeringto the LORD,his offeringshall be of fineflour,and he shall pouroilon it and putfrankincenseon it.
He shall also dowith the bulljustas he didwith the bullof the sinoffering;thushe shall dowith it. So the priestshall makeatonementfor them, and they will be forgiven.
Allits fathe shall offerup in smokeon the altaras [in the case of] the fatof the sacrificeof peaceofferings.Thus the priestshall makeatonementfor him in regard to his sin,and he will be forgiven.
Then he shall removeallits fat,justas the fatwas removedfrom the sacrificeof peaceofferings;and the priestshall offerit up in smokeon the altarfor a soothingaromato the LORD.Thus the priestshall makeatonementfor him, and he will be forgiven.
The secondhe shall then prepareas a burntofferingaccording to the ordinance.So the priestshall makeatonementon his behalffor his sinwhichhe has committed,and it will be forgivenhim.
So the priestshall makeatonementfor him concerninghis sinwhichhe has committedfrom oneof these,and it will be forgivenhim; then [the rest] shall becomethe priest's,like the grain offering.'"
"He is then to bringto the priesta ramwithoutdefectfrom the flock,according to your valuation,for a guiltoffering.So the priestshall makeatonementfor him concerninghis errorin whichhe sinnedunintentionallyand did not know[it], and it will be forgivenhim.
Then the LORDspoketo Moses,saying,
In the placewherethey slaythe burntofferingthey are to slaythe guiltoffering,and he shall sprinkleits bloodaroundon the altar.
Whois a GodlikeYou, who pardonsiniquityAnd passesoverthe rebelliousactof the remnantof His possession?He does not retainHis angerforever,BecauseHe delightsin unchanginglove.
"ThereforeI sayto you, anysinand blasphemyshall be forgivenpeople,but blasphemyagainst the Spiritshall not be forgiven.
but ifwe walkin the Lightas He Himselfis in the Light,we havefellowshipwith one another,and the bloodof JesusHis Soncleansesus from allsin.
Ifwe confessour sins,He is faithfuland righteousto forgiveus our sinsand to cleanseus from allunrighteousness.
