So I will turntowardyou and make you fruitfuland multiplyyou, and I will confirmMy covenantwith you.
Godblessedthem; and Godsaidto them, "Be fruitfuland multiply,and fillthe earth,and subdueit; and ruleover the fishof the seaand over the birdsof the skyand over everylivingthingthat moveson the earth."
"As for Ishmael,I have heardyou; behold,I will blesshim, and will makehim fruitfuland will multiplyhim exceedingly.He shall becomethe fatherof twelveprinces,and I will makehim a greatnation.
indeedI will greatlyblessyou, and I will greatlymultiplyyour seedas the starsof the heavensand as the sandwhichis on the seashore;and your seedshall possessthe gateof their enemies.
"I will multiplyyour descendantsas the starsof heaven,and will giveyour descendantsalltheselands;and by your descendantsallthe nationsof the earthshall be blessed;
"Your descendantswill also be like the dustof the earth,and you will spreadout to the westand to the eastand to the northand to the south;and in you and in your descendantsshall allthe familiesof the earthbe blessed.
"May GodAlmightyblessyou and makeyou fruitfuland multiplyyou, that you may becomea companyof peoples.
and He saidto me, 'Behold,I will makeyou fruitfuland numerous,and I will makeyou a companyof peoples,and will givethislandto your descendantsafteryou for an everlastingpossession.'
"But I will establishMy covenantwith you; and you shall enterthe ark--you and your sonsand your wife,and your sons'wiveswith you.
"Your servantis in the midstof Your peoplewhichYou have chosen,a greatpeoplewhoare toomanyto be numberedor counted.
But the LORDwas graciousto them and hadcompassionon them and turnedto them becauseof His covenantwith Abraham,Isaac,and Jacob,and wouldnot destroythem or castthem from His presenceuntilnow.
So I answeredthem and saidto them, "The Godof heavenwill giveus success;therefore we His servantswill ariseand build,but you havenoportion,rightor memorialin Jerusalem."
"You madetheir sonsnumerousas the starsof heaven,And You broughtthem into the landWhichYou had toldtheir fathersto enterand possess.
Also He blessesthem and they multiplygreatly,And He does not let their cattledecrease.
"I have madea covenantwith My chosen;I have swornto DavidMy servant,
But the sonsof Israelwere fruitfuland increasedgreatly,and multiplied,and becameexceedinglymighty,so that the landwas filledwith them.
Godsawthe sonsof Israel,and Godtooknotice[of them].
"I alsoestablishedMy covenantwith them, to givethem the landof Canaan,the landin whichthey sojourned.
"Inclineyour earand cometo Me. Listen,that you may live;And I will makean everlastingcovenantwith you, [According to] the faithfulmerciesshown to David.
"Then I Myselfwill gatherthe remnantof My flockout of allthe countrieswhereI have driventhem and bringthem backto their pasture,and they will be fruitfuland multiply.
"I will also raiseup shepherdsoverthem and they will tendthem; and they will not be afraidanylonger,norbe terrified,norwill any be missing,"declaresthe LORD.
Callto Me and I will answeryou, and I will tellyou greatand mightythings,which you do not know.'
"Thus I will establishMy covenantwith you, and you shall knowthat I am the LORD,
For, behold,I am for you, and I will turnto you, and you will be cultivatedand sown.
if,instead, you rejectMy statutes,and ifyour soulabhorsMy ordinancesso as not to carryout allMy commandments,[and] so breakMy covenant,
To showmercytowardour fathers,And to rememberHis holycovenant,
"The LORDwill make you aboundin prosperity,in the offspringof your bodyand in the offspringof your beastand in the produceof your ground,in the landwhichthe LORDsworeto your fathersto giveyou.
"Blessed[shall be] the offspringof your bodyand the produceof your groundand the offspringof your beasts,the increaseof your herdand the youngof your flock.
"He will loveyou and blessyou and multiplyyou; He will also blessthe fruitof your womband the fruitof your ground,your grainand your newwineand your oil,the increaseof your herdand the youngof your flock,in the landwhichHe sworeto your forefathersto giveyou.
NOT LIKETHE COVENANTWHICHI MADEWITH THEIR FATHERSON THE DAYWHEN I TOOKTHEM BY THE HANDTO LEADTHEM OUT OF THE LANDOF EGYPT;FOR THEY DID NOT CONTINUEIN MY COVENANT,AND I DID NOT CAREFOR THEM, SAYSTHE LORD.
