In fierceangerHe has cutoffAllthe strengthof Israel;He has drawnbackHis righthandFrom beforethe enemy.And He has burnedin Jacoblike a flamingfireConsumingroundabout.
"Becausethey have forsakenMe and have burnedincenseto othergods,that they might provokeMe to angerwith allthe worksof their hands;therefore My wrathwill be pouredout on thisplaceand it shall not be quenched."'

"ThereI will cause the hornof Davidto springforth;I have prepareda lampfor Mine anointed.
Whydo You withdrawYour hand,even Your righthand?From withinYour bosom,destroy[them]!

Do not liftup your hornon high,Do not speakwith insolentpride.'"
Howlong,O LORD?Will You be angryforever?Will Your jealousyburnlikefire?
"My faithfulnessand My lovingkindnesswill be with him, And in My namehis hornwill be exalted.
Howlong,O LORD?Will You hideYourself forever?Will Your wrathburnlikefire?
The strongmanwill becometinder,His workalso a spark.Thus they shall bothburntogetherAnd therewill be noneto quench[them].
So He pouredout on him the heatof His angerAnd the fiercenessof battle;And it sethim aflameallaround,Yet he did not recognize[it]; And it burnedhim, but he paidnoattention.
"But I will punishyou according to the resultsof your deeds,"declaresthe LORD,"And I will kindlea firein its forestThat it may devourallits environs."'"
"Circumciseyourselves to the LORDAnd removethe foreskinsof your heart,Menof Judahand inhabitantsof Jerusalem,OrelseMy wrathwill goforthlike fireAnd burnwith noneto quenchit, Becauseof the evilof your deeds."

Therefore,thussaysthe LordGOD,"I will make a violentwindbreakout in My wrath.There will also be in My angera floodingrainand hailstonesto consume[it] in wrath.
They have blownthe trumpetand madeeverythingready,but nooneis goingto the battle,for My wrathis againstalltheir multitude.
Whocan standbeforeHis indignation?Whocan endurethe burningof His anger?His wrathis pouredout like fireAnd the rocksare brokenup by Him.
"For behold,the dayis coming,burninglike a furnace;and allthe arrogantand everyevildoerwill be chaff;and the daythat is comingwill setthem ablaze,"saysthe LORDof hosts,"sothat it will leavethem neitherrootnorbranch."
And has raisedup a hornof salvationfor us In the houseof DavidHis servant--
"His winnowing forkis in His handto thoroughly clearHis threshing floor,and to gatherthe wheatinto His barn;but He will burnup the chaffwith unquenchablefire."
For a fireis kindledin My anger,And burnsto the lowestpartof Sheol,And consumesthe earthwith its yield,And setson firethe foundationsof the mountains.
