Then the restof the peoplewho were leftin the cityand the deserterswhohad desertedto the kingof Babylonand the restof the people,Nebuzaradanthe captainof the guardcarriedawayinto exile.
Then the kingof Babylonstruckthem down and putthem to deathat Riblahin the landof Hamath.So Judahwas ledawayinto exilefrom its land.
Then the citywas brokeninto, and allthe menof war[fled] by nightby wayof the gatebetweenthe two wallsbesidethe king'sgarden,though the Chaldeanswere allaroundthe city.And they wentby wayof the Arabah.
But the armyof the Chaldeanspursuedthe kingand overtookhim in the plainsof Jerichoand allhis armywas scatteredfrom him.
The citiesof the Negevhave been lockedup, And thereis nooneto open[them]; AllJudahhas been carriedinto exile,Whollycarriedinto exile.
"Behold,I am going to sendfor manyfishermen,"declaresthe LORD,"and they will fishfor them; and afterwardsI will sendfor manyhunters,and they will huntthem from everymountainand everyhilland from the cleftsof the rocks.
I will makethem a terror[and an] evilfor allthe kingdomsof the earth,as a reproachand a proverb,a tauntand a cursein allplaceswhereI will scatterthem.

Then Nebuzaradanthe captainof the guardcarriedawayinto exilesomeof the poorestof the people,the restof the peoplewho were leftin the city,the deserterswhohad desertedto the kingof Babylonand the restof the artisans.
But the armyof the Chaldeanspursuedthe kingand overtookZedekiahin the plainsof Jericho,and allhis armywas scatteredfrom him.
Her gateshave sunkinto the ground,He has destroyedand brokenher bars.Her kingand her princesare among the nations;The lawis nomore.Also,her prophetsfindNovisionfrom the LORD.
"Depart!Unclean!"they criedof themselves. "Depart,depart,do not touch!"Sothey fledand wandered;[Men] among the nationssaid,"They shall not continueto dwell[with us]."
Our pursuersare at our necks;We are wornout, there is norestfor us.
Onethirdof you will dieby plagueor be consumedby famineamongyou, onethirdwill fallby the swordaroundyou, and onethirdI will scatterto everywind,and I will unsheathea swordbehindthem.
therefore you shall serveyour enemieswhomthe LORDwill sendagainst you, in hunger,in thirst,in nakedness,and in the lackof allthings;and He will putan ironyokeon your neckuntilHe has destroyedyou.
