"For I have not dweltin a housesincethe dayI broughtup the sonsof Israelfrom Egypt,even to thisday;but I have beenmovingabout in a tent,even in a tabernacle.
Jeroboamsaidto his wife,"Arisenow,and disguiseyourself so that they will not knowthat you are the wifeof Jeroboam,and goto Shiloh;behold,Ahijahthe prophetis there,whospokeconcerningme [that I would be] kingoverthispeople.
Jeroboam'swifedidso,and aroseand wentto Shiloh,and cameto the houseof Ahijah.Now Ahijahcouldnot see,for his eyeswere dimbecauseof his age.
So SolomondismissedAbiatharfrom beingpriestto the LORD,in order to fulfillthe wordof the LORD,whichHe had spokenconcerningthe houseof Eliin Shiloh.
"So their sonsenteredand possessedthe land.And You subduedbeforethem the inhabitantsof the land,the Canaanites,And You gavethem into their hand,with their kingsand the peoplesof the land,To dowith them as they desired.
So that He abandonedthe dwellingplaceat Shiloh,The tentwhich He had pitchedamong men,
He droveHis adversariesbackward;He puton them an everlastingreproach.
then I will makethishouselike Shiloh,and thiscityI will makea curseto allthe nationsof the earth."'"
"Whyhave you prophesiedin the nameof the LORDsaying,'Thishousewill be like Shilohand thiscitywill be desolate,withoutinhabitant?"And allthe peoplegatheredaboutJeremiahin the houseof the LORD.
that eightymencamefrom Shechem,from Shiloh,and from Samariawith their beardsshavedoffand their clothestornand their bodies gashed,having grain offeringsand incensein their handsto bringto the houseof the LORD.
and the landis subduedbeforethe LORD,then afterwardyou shall returnand be freeof obligationtowardthe LORDand towardIsrael,and thislandshall be yours for a possessionbeforethe LORD.

There remainedamong the sonsof Israelseventribeswhohad not dividedtheir inheritance.
Then the menaroseand went,and Joshuacommandedthose who wentto describethe land,saying,"Goand walkthrough the landand describeit, and returnto me; then I will castlotsfor you herebeforethe LORDin Shiloh."
Theseare the inheritanceswhichEleazarthe priest,and Joshuathe sonof Nun,and the headsof the householdsof the tribesof the sonsof Israeldistributedby lotin Shilohbeforethe LORDat the doorwayof the tentof meeting.So they finisheddividingthe land.
They spoketo them at Shilohin the landof Canaan,saying,"The LORDcommandedthroughMosesto giveus citiesto livein, with their pasturelandsfor our cattle."
When the sonsof Israelheard[of it], the wholecongregationof the sonsof Israelgatheredthemselves at Shilohto goup againstthem in war.
If,however,the landof your possessionis unclean,then crossinto the landof the possessionof the LORD,wherethe LORD'Stabernaclestands,and takepossessionamongus. Only do not rebelagainst the LORD,or rebelagainstus by buildingan altarfor yourselves, besidesthe altarof the LORDour God.
The sonsof Reubenand the sonsof Gadand the half-tribeof Manassehreturned[home] and departedfrom the sonsof Israelat Shilohwhichis in the landof Canaan,to goto the landof Gilead,to the landof their possessionwhichthey had possessed,accordingto the commandof the LORDthroughMoses.
So they setup for themselves Micah'sgravenimagewhichhe had made,allthe timethat the houseof Godwas at Shiloh.
And they foundamongthe inhabitantsof Jabesh-gilead400youngvirginswhohad not knowna manby lyingwith him; and they broughtthem to the campat Shiloh,whichis in the landof Canaan.
So they said,"Behold,there is a feastof the LORDfrom yearto yearin Shiloh,whichis on the northsideof Bethel,on the eastsideof the highwaythat goesup from Bethelto Shechem,and on the southsideof Lebonah."
Now whenshe had weanedhim, she tookhim up with her, with a three-year-oldbulland oneephahof flourand a jugof wine,and broughthim to the houseof the LORDin Shiloh,although the childwas young.
Now thismanwould goup from his cityyearlyto worshipand to sacrificeto the LORDof hostsin Shiloh.And the twosonsof Eli,Hophniand Phinehas,were prieststo the LORDthere.
