"[It is God] who removesthe mountains,they knownot [how], WhenHe overturnsthem in His anger;
"Nakedis SheolbeforeHim, And Abaddonhasnocovering.
"He putshis handon the flint;He overturnsthe mountainsat the base.
"ThereforeHe knowstheir works,And He overthrows[them] in the night,And they are crushed.
"Pourout the overflowingsof your anger,And lookon everyonewhois proud,and makehim low.
"Whohas givento Me that I should repay[him]? [Whatever] is underthe wholeheavenis Mine.
O mountains,that you skiplike rams?O hills,like lambs?
Thereforewe will not fear,though the earthshould changeAnd though the mountainsslipinto the heartof the sea;
The earthquaked;The heavensalsodropped[rain] at the presenceof God;Sinaiitself[quaked] at the presenceof God,the Godof Israel.
Whohas measuredthe watersin the hollowof His hand,And markedoffthe heavensby the span,And calculatedthe dustof the earthby the measure,And weighedthe mountainsin a balanceAnd the hillsin a pair of scales?
Mountainsquakebecauseof Him And the hillsdissolve;Indeed the earthis upheavedby His presence,The worldand allthe inhabitantsin it.
Whocan standbeforeHis indignation?Whocan endurethe burningof His anger?His wrathis pouredout like fireAnd the rocksare brokenup by Him.
The mountainssawYou [and] quaked;The downpourof waterssweptby. The deeputteredforthits voice,It liftedhighits hands.
He stoodand surveyedthe earth;He lookedand startledthe nations.Yes, the perpetualmountainswere shattered,The ancienthillscollapsed.His waysare everlasting.
Whatare you, O greatmountain?BeforeZerubbabel[you will become] a plain;and he will bringforththe topstonewith shoutsof "Grace,graceto it!"'"
And Jesusansweredand saidto them, "TrulyI sayto you, ifyou havefaithand do not doubt,you will not onlydowhatwas done to the fig tree,but even ifyou sayto thismountain,'Be takenup and castinto the sea,'it will happen.
And behold,the veilof the templewas tornin twofrom topto bottom;and the earthshookand the rockswere split.
and there will be greatearthquakes,and in variousplacesplaguesand famines;and there will be terrorsand greatsignsfrom heaven.
IfI have[the gift of] prophecy,and knowallmysteriesand allknowledge;and ifI haveallfaith,soas to removemountains,but do not havelove,I amnothing.
And in that hourthere was a greatearthquake,and a tenthof the cityfell;seventhousandpeoplewere killedin the earthquake,and the restwere terrifiedand gavegloryto the Godof heaven.
The skywas split apartlikea scrollwhen it is rolledup, and everymountainand islandwere movedout of their places.
