"In thosedaysand at that time,"declaresthe LORD,"the sonsof Israelwill come,[both] they and the sonsof Judahas well;they will goalong weepingas they go,and it will be the LORDtheir Godthey will seek.
and My peoplewhoare calledby My namehumblethemselves and prayand seekMy faceand turnfrom their wickedways,then I will hearfrom heaven,will forgivetheir sinand will healtheir land.
Seekthe LORDand His strength;SeekHis facecontinually.
Whenthe LORDwill havecompassionon Jacoband againchooseIsrael,and settlethem in their own land,then strangerswill jointhem and attachthemselves to the houseof Jacob.
"I have not spokenin secret,In somedarkland;I did not sayto the offspringof Jacob,SeekMe in a wasteplace;I, the LORD,speakrighteousness,Declaringthingsthat are upright.
Seekthe LORDwhile He may be found;Callupon Him while He is near.
"For the dayof vengeancewas in My heart,And My yearof redemptionhas come.
"Behold,daysare coming,"declaresthe LORD,"when I will makea newcovenantwith the houseof Israeland with the houseof Judah,
In thosedaysand at that timeI will cause a righteousBranchof Davidto springforth;and He shall executejusticeand righteousnesson the earth.
Then Ishmaelthe sonof Nethaniahwentout from Mizpahto meetthem, weepingas he went;and as he metthem, he saidto them, "Cometo Gedaliahthe sonof Ahikam!"
"Then you will rememberyour waysand be ashamedwhen you receiveyour sisters,[both] your olderand your younger;and I will givethem to you as daughters,but not becauseof your covenant.
Thereforethussaysthe LordGOD,"NowI will restorethe fortunesof Jacoband havemercyon the wholehouseof Israel;and I will be jealousfor My holyname.
And the sonsof Judahand the sonsof Israelwill be gatheredtogether,And they will appointfor themselves oneleader,And they will goup from the land,For greatwill be the dayof Jezreel.
They will walkafterthe LORD,He will roarlike a lion;IndeedHe will roarAnd [His] sonswill cometremblingfrom the west.
Afterwardthe sonsof Israelwill returnand seekthe LORDtheir Godand Davidtheir king;and they will cometremblingto the LORDand to His goodnessin the lastdays.
"Come,let us returnto the LORD.For He has torn[us], but He will healus; He has wounded[us], but He will bandageus.
"Yet evennow,"declaresthe LORD,"Returnto Me with allyour heart,And with fasting,weepingand mourning;
"I will pourout on the houseof Davidand on the inhabitantsof Jerusalem,the Spiritof graceand of supplication,so that they will lookon Me whomthey have pierced;and they will mournfor Him, as one mournsfor an onlyson,and they will weepbitterlyoverHim like the bitterweepingovera firstborn.
Be miserableand mournand weep;let your laughterbe turnedinto mourningand your joyto gloom.
