Thussaysthe LORD,Who givesthe sunfor lightby dayAnd the fixedorderof the moonand the starsfor lightby night,Who stirsup the seaso that its wavesroar;The LORDof hostsis His name:
"He quietedthe seawith His power,And by His understandingHe shatteredRahab.
"Do you knowthe ordinancesof the heavens,Orfixtheir ruleover the earth?
Thus He rebukedthe RedSeaand it driedup, And He ledthem through the deeps,as through the wilderness.
Forever,O LORD,Your wordis settledin heaven.
They standthis dayaccording to Your ordinances,For allthingsare Your servants.
He has also establishedthem foreverand ever;He has madea decreewhich will not passaway.
May his nameendureforever;May his nameincreaseas longas the sun[shines]; And let [men] blessthemselves by him; Let allnationscallhim blessed.
Let them fearYou whilethe sun[endures], And as longas the moon,throughout allgenerations.
You dividedthe seaby Your strength;You brokethe headsof the seamonstersin the waters.
Yours is the day,Yours alsois the night;You have preparedthe lightand the sun.
He dividedthe seaand caused them to passthrough,And He made the watersstandup likea heap.
For I have said,"Lovingkindnesswill be builtup forever;In the heavensYou will establishYour faithfulness."

"For your husbandis your Maker,Whose nameis the LORDof hosts;And your Redeemeris the HolyOneof Israel,Who is calledthe Godof allthe earth.
Who caused His gloriousarmto goat the righthandof Moses,Who dividedthe watersbeforethem to makefor Himself an everlastingname,
The portionof Jacobis not like these;For the Makerof allis He, And Israelis the tribeof His inheritance;The LORDof hostsis His name.
who showslovingkindnessto thousands,but repaysthe iniquityof fathersinto the bosomof their childrenafterthem, O greatand mightyGod.The LORDof hostsis His name;
"Thussaysthe LORD,'Ifyou can breakMy covenantfor the dayand My covenantfor the night,so that dayand nightwill not be at their appointedtime,
"Thussaysthe LORD,'IfMy covenant[for] dayand night[stand] not, [and] the fixedpatternsof heavenand earthI have not established,
thenI would rejectthe descendantsof Jacoband DavidMy servant,not takingfrom his descendantsrulersoverthe descendantsof Abraham,Isaacand Jacob.But I will restoretheir fortunesand will havemercyon them.'"
"As I live,"declaresthe KingWhose nameis the LORDof hosts,"Surelyone shall come[who looms up] like Taboramong the mountains,Or like Carmelby the sea.
Do you not fearMe?' declaresthe LORD.'Do you not tremblein My presence?For I have placedthe sandas a boundaryfor the sea,An eternaldecree,so it cannotcrossoverit. Though the wavestoss,yet they cannotprevail;Though they roar,yet they cannotcrossoverit.
"Their Redeemeris strong,the LORDof hostsis His name;He will vigorouslypleadtheir caseSothat He may bringrestto the earth,But turmoilto the inhabitantsof Babylon.
The portionof Jacobis not like these;For the Makerof allis He, And of the tribeof His inheritance;The LORDof hostsis His name.
Shall I ransomthem from the powerof Sheol?Shall I redeemthem from death?O Death,whereare your thorns?O Sheol,whereis your sting?Compassionwill be hiddenfrom My sight.
"Behold,the eyesof the LordGODare on the sinfulkingdom,And I will destroyit from the faceof the earth;Nevertheless,I will not totallydestroythe houseof Jacob,"Declaresthe LORD.
sothat you may be sonsof your Fatherwhois in heaven;for He causesHis sunto riseon [the] eviland [the] good,and sends rainon [the] righteousand [the] unrighteous.
"And [beware] not to liftup your eyesto heavenand seethe sunand the moonand the stars,allthe hostof heaven,and be drawnawayand worshipthem and servethem, those whichthe LORDyour Godhas allottedto allthe peoplesunderthe wholeheaven.
