"Then they will goforthand lookOn the corpsesof the menWho have transgressedagainst Me. For their wormwill not dieAnd their firewill not be quenched;And they will be an abhorrenceto allmankind."
He will judgeamong the nations,He will fill[them] with corpses,He will shatterthe chiefmenovera broadcountry.
But transgressorsand sinnerswill be crushedtogether,And those who forsakethe LORDwill cometo an end.
The strongmanwill becometinder,His workalso a spark.Thus they shall bothburntogetherAnd therewill be noneto quench[them].
Your pomp[and] the musicof your harpsHave been broughtdownto Sheol;Maggotsare spreadout [as your bed] beneathyou And wormsare your covering.'
The earthreelsto and frolike a drunkardAnd it totterslike a shack,For its transgressionis heavyupon it, And it will fall,neverto riseagain.
O LORD,Your handis liftedup [yet] they do not seeit. They see[Your] zealfor the peopleand are putto shame;Indeed,firewill devourYour enemies.
It will not be quenchednightor day;Its smokewill goup forever.From generationto generationit will be desolate;Nonewill passthrough it foreverand ever.
So their slainwill be thrownout, And their corpseswill giveofftheir stench,And the mountainswill be drenchedwith their blood.
"Thereis nopeacefor the wicked,"saysthe LORD.
On thisaccountthe angerof the LORDhas burnedagainst His people,And He has stretchedout His handagainstthem and struckthem down.And the mountainsquaked,and their corpseslaylike refusein the middleof the streets.For allthisHis angeris not spent,But His handis stillstretchedout.
"For the mothwill eatthem like a garment,And the grubwill eatthem like wool.But My righteousnesswill be forever,And My salvationto allgenerations."
"You will leaveyour namefor a curseto My chosenones,And the LordGODwill slayyou. But My servantswill be calledby anothername.
For the LORDwill executejudgmentby fireAnd by His swordon allflesh,And those slainby the LORDwill be many.
"Manyof those whosleepin the dustof the groundwill awake,theseto everlastinglife,but the othersto disgrace[and] everlastingcontempt.
Now thiswill be the plaguewith whichthe LORDwill strikeallthe peopleswhohave goneto waragainstJerusalem;their fleshwill rotwhile they standon their feet,and their eyeswill rotin their sockets,and their tonguewill rotin their mouth.
"His winnowing forkis in His hand,and He will thoroughly clearHis threshing floor;and He will gatherHis wheatinto the barn,but He will burnup the chaffwith unquenchablefire."
"But for the cowardlyand unbelievingand abominableand murderersand immoral personsand sorcerersand idolatersand allliars,their part[will be] in the lakethat burnswith fireand brimstone,whichis the seconddeath."
