Therefore,Hebronbecamethe inheritanceof Calebthe sonof Jephunnehthe Kenizziteuntilthisday,becausehe followedthe LORDGodof Israelfully.
Now the nameof Hebronwas formerlyKiriath-arba;[for Arba] was the greatestmanamong the Anakim.Then the landhadrestfrom war.
So Judahwentagainstthe Canaaniteswho livedin Hebron(now the nameof Hebronformerly[was] Kiriath-arba);and they struckSheshaiand Ahimanand Talmai.
