Beforehe had finishedspeaking,behold,Rebekahwhowas bornto Bethuelthe sonof Milcah,the wifeof Abraham'sbrotherNahor,cameout with her jaron her shoulder.
Now theseare [the records of] the generationsof Terah.Terahbecamethe fatherof Abram,Nahorand Haran;and Haranbecamethe fatherof Lot.
Abramand Nahortookwivesfor themselves. The nameof Abram'swifewas Sarai;and the nameof Nahor'swifewas Milcah,the daughterof Haran,the fatherof Milcahand Iscah.
So Abrahamroseearlyin the morningand tookbreadand a skinof waterand gave[them] to Hagar,putting[them] on her shoulder,and [gave her] the boy,and senther away.And she departedand wanderedabout in the wildernessof Beersheba.
now may it be that the girlto whomI say,'Pleaseletdownyour jarso that I may drink,'and who answers,'Drink,and I will wateryour camelsalso--[may] she [be the one] whom You have appointedfor Your servantIsaac;and by this I will knowthat You have shownlovingkindnessto my master."
She saidto him, "I am the daughterof Bethuel,the sonof Milcah,whomshe boreto Nahor."

and Isaacwas fortyyearsoldwhen he tookRebekah,the daughterof Bethuelthe Arameanof Paddan-aram,the sisterof Labanthe Aramean,to be his wife.
He saidto them, "Do you knowLabanthe sonof Nahor?"And they said,"We know[him]."
While he was stillspeakingwith them, Rachelcamewith her father'ssheep,for she was a shepherdess.
The eyesof the LORDare towardthe righteousAnd His earsare [open] to their cry.
O You who hearprayer,To You allmencome.
Now the priestof Midianhad sevendaughters;and they cameto drawwaterand filledthe troughsto watertheir father'sflock.
She lookswellto the waysof her household,And does not eatthe breadof idleness.
"Thenyou will call,and the LORDwill answer;You will cry,and He will say,'HereI am.' Ifyou removethe yokefrom your midst,The pointingof the fingerand speakingwickedness,
"It will also cometo passthat beforethey call,I will answer;and while they are stillspeaking,I will hear.
So she gleanedin the fielduntilevening.Then she beatout whatshe had gleaned,and it was about an ephahof barley.
And Ruththe Moabitesssaidto Naomi,"Pleaselet me goto the fieldand gleanamong the earsof grainafterone in whosesightI may findfavor."And she saidto her, "Go,my daughter."
As they wentup the slopeto the city,they foundyoungwomengoingout to drawwaterand saidto them, "Is the seerhere?"
