"Say,therefore,to the sonsof Israel,I am the LORD,and I will bringyou out from underthe burdensof the Egyptians,and I will deliveryou from their bondage.I will also redeemyou with an outstretchedarmand with greatjudgments.
and the LORDbroughtus out of Egyptwith a mightyhandand an outstretchedarmand with greatterrorand with signsand wonders;
"And whatonenationin the earthis like Your peopleIsrael,whomGodwentto redeemfor Himself [as] a people,to makeYou a nameby greatand terriblethings,in drivingout nationsfrom beforeYour people,whomYou redeemedout of Egypt?
but becausethe LORDlovedyou and keptthe oathwhichHe sworeto your forefathers,the LORDbroughtyou out by a mightyhandand redeemedyou from the houseof slavery,from the handof Pharaohkingof Egypt.
"When Pharaohdoes not listento you, then I will layMy handon Egyptand bringout My hosts,My peoplethe sonsof Israel,from the landof Egyptby greatjudgments.
"They are Your servantsand Your peoplewhomYou redeemedby Your greatpowerand by Your stronghand.
"I relievedhis shoulderof the burden,His handswere freedfrom the basket.
"You shall rememberthat you were a slavein the landof Egypt,and the LORDyour Godredeemedyou; thereforeI commandyou thistoday.
"In Your lovingkindnessYou have ledthe peoplewhomYou have redeemed;In Your strengthYou have guided[them] to Your holyhabitation.
"So I said,I will bringyou up out of the afflictionof Egyptto the landof the Canaaniteand the Hittiteand the Amoriteand the Perizziteand the Hiviteand the Jebusite,to a landflowingwith milkand honey."'
"But the LORD,whobroughtyou up from the landof Egyptwith greatpowerand with an outstretchedarm,Him you shall fear,and to Him you shall bowyourselves down,and to Him you shall sacrifice.
"So watchyourselves, that you do not forgetthe covenantof the LORDyour GodwhichHe madewith you, and makefor yourselves a gravenimagein the formof anything[against] whichthe LORDyour Godhas commandedyou.
Manasseh[devours] Ephraim,and EphraimManasseh,[And] togetherthey are againstJudah.In [spite of] allthis,His angerdoes not turnawayAnd His handis stillstretchedout.
that the LORDspoketo Moses,saying,"I am the LORD;speakto Pharaohkingof Egyptallthat I speakto you."
I will bringyou to the landwhichI sworeto giveto Abraham,Isaac,and Jacob,and I will giveit to you [for] a possession;I am the LORD.'"
Godspokefurther to Mosesand saidto him, "I am the LORD;
The Arameanson the eastand the Philistineson the west;And they devourIsraelwith gapingjaws.In [spite of] allthis,His angerdoes not turnawayAnd His handis stillstretchedout.
Thereforethe Lorddoes not takepleasurein their youngmen,Nordoes He havepityon their orphansor their widows;For everyoneof them is godlessand an evildoer,And everymouthis speakingfoolishness.In [spite of] allthis,His angerdoes not turnawayAnd His handis stillstretchedout.
"The Godof thispeopleIsraelchoseour fathersand madethe peoplegreatduringtheir stayin the landof Egypt,and with an upliftedarmHe ledthem out from it.
So they appointedtaskmastersoverthem to afflictthem with hardlabor.And they builtfor Pharaohstoragecities,Pithomand Raamses.
Now it cameabout in thosedays,when Moseshad grownup, that he wentout to his brethrenand lookedon their hardlabors;and he sawan Egyptianbeatinga Hebrew,oneof his brethren.
And at the endof fourhundredand thirtyyears,to the veryday,allthe hostsof the LORDwentout from the landof Egypt.
And on that samedaythe LORDbroughtthe sonsof Israelout of the landof Egyptby their hosts.
Mosessaidto the people,"Rememberthisdayin whichyou wentout from Egypt,from the houseof slavery;for by a powerfulhandthe LORDbroughtyou out from thisplace. And nothingleavenedshall be eaten.
"And it shall be whenyour sonasksyou in timeto come,saying,'Whatis this?'then you shall sayto him, 'With a powerfulhandthe LORDbroughtus out of Egypt,from the houseof slavery.
So Mosesand Aaronsaidto allthe sonsof Israel,"At eveningyou will knowthat the LORDhas broughtyou out of the landof Egypt;
Now Jethro,the priestof Midian,Moses'father-in-law,heardof allthat Godhad donefor Mosesand for IsraelHis people,howthe LORDhad broughtIsraelout of Egypt.
"Orhas a godtriedto goto takefor himself a nationfrom within[another] nationby trials,by signsand wondersand by warand by a mightyhandand by an outstretchedarmand by greatterrors,as the LORDyour Goddidfor you in Egyptbefore your eyes?
You shall rememberthat you were a slavein the landof Egypt,and the LORDyour Godbroughtyou out of thereby a mightyhandand by an outstretchedarm;thereforethe LORDyour Godcommandedyou to observethe sabbathday.
then watchyourself, that you do not forgetthe LORDwhobroughtyou from the landof Egypt,out of the houseof slavery.
"I Myselfwill waragainstyou with an outstretchedhandand a mightyarm,even in angerand wrathand greatindignation.
You broughtYour peopleIsraelout of the landof Egyptwith signsand with wonders,and with a stronghandand with an outstretchedarmand with greatterror;
"So I have comedownto deliverthem from the powerof the Egyptians,and to bringthem up from that landto a goodand spaciousland,to a landflowingwith milkand honey,to the placeof the Canaaniteand the Hittiteand the Amoriteand the Perizziteand the Hiviteand the Jebusite.
"The Egyptiansshall knowthat I am the LORD,when I stretchout My handon Egyptand bringout the sonsof Israelfrom their midst."
"So it shall serveas a signon your handand as phylacterieson your forehead,for with a powerfulhandthe LORDbroughtus out of Egypt."
Then Mosesentreatedthe LORDhis God,and said,"O LORD,whydoes Your angerburnagainst Your peoplewhomYou have broughtout from the landof Egyptwith greatpowerand with a mightyhand?
the greattrialswhichyour eyessawand the signsand the wondersand the mightyhandand the outstretchedarmby whichthe LORDyour Godbroughtyou out. Soshall the LORDyour Goddoto allthe peoplesof whomyou are afraid.
Yet they are Your people,even Your inheritance,whomYou have broughtout by Your greatpowerand Your outstretchedarm.'
"Knowthis daythat I [am] not [speaking] with your sonswhohave not knownand whohave not seenthe disciplineof the LORDyour God--His greatness,His mightyhandand His outstretchedarm,
(for they will hearof Your greatnameand Your mightyhand,and of Your outstretchedarm);when he comesand praystowardthishouse,
The waterssawYou, O God;The waterssawYou, they were in anguish;The deepsalsotrembled.
"You calledin troubleand I rescuedyou; I answeredyou in the hidingplaceof thunder;I provedyou at the watersof Meribah.Selah.
"But My peopledid not listento My voice,And Israeldid not obeyMe.
"I have madethe earth,the menand the beastswhichare on the faceof the earthby My greatpowerand by My outstretchedarm,and I will giveit to the one whois pleasingin My sight.
"As I live,"declaresthe LordGOD,"surelywith a mightyhandand with an outstretchedarmand with wrathpouredout, I shall be kingoveryou.
