For this,"YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY,YOU SHALL NOT MURDER,YOU SHALL NOT STEAL,YOU SHALL NOT COVET,"and ifthere is anyothercommandment,it is summedup in thissaying,"YOU SHALL LOVEYOUR NEIGHBORAS YOURSELF."
Whatshall we saythen?Is the Lawsin?May it neverbe! On the contrary,I would not have come to knowsinexceptthroughthe Law;for I would not have known aboutcovetingifthe Lawhad not said,"YOU SHALL NOT COVET."
northieves,nor[the] covetous,nordrunkards,norrevilers,norswindlers,will inheritthe kingdomof God.
But immoralityoranyimpurityorgreedmust not evenbe namedamongyou, as is properamong saints;
For thisyou knowwith certainty,that noimmoralorimpure personorcovetous man,whois an idolater,hasan inheritancein the kingdomof Christand God.

when I sawamong the spoila beautifulmantlefrom Shinarand two hundredshekelsof silverand a barof goldfiftyshekelsin weight,then I covetedthem and tookthem; and behold,they are concealedin the earthinsidemy tentwith the silverunderneathit."
