O LORD,You showedfavorto Your land;You restoredthe captivityof Jacob.
You withdrewallYour fury;You turnedawayfrom Your burninganger.
Thereforethe LordGODof hosts,The MightyOneof Israel,declares,"Ah,I will be relievedof My adversariesAnd avengeMyself on My foes.
"I will also turnMy handagainstyou, And will smeltaway your drossas with lyeAnd will removeallyour alloy.
Then in that dayThe nationswill resortto the rootof Jesse,Whowill standas a signalfor the peoples;And His restingplacewill be glorious.
In that daythere will be a highwayfrom Egyptto Assyria,and the Assyrianswill comeinto Egyptand the Egyptiansinto Assyria,and the Egyptianswill worshipwith the Assyrians.
whomthe LORDof hostshas blessed,saying,"Blessedis EgyptMy people,and Assyriathe workof My hands,and IsraelMy inheritance."

The Lordhas becomelike an enemy.He has swallowedup Israel;He has swallowedup allits palaces,He has destroyedits strongholdsAnd multipliedin the daughterof JudahMourningand moaning.
so that you may rememberand be ashamedand neveropenyour mouthanymorebecauseof your humiliation,when I have forgivenyou for allthat you have done,"the LordGODdeclares.
"I will layMy vengeanceon Edomby the handof My peopleIsrael.Therefore, they will actin Edomaccording to My angerand according to My wrath;thus they will knowMy vengeance,"declaresthe LordGOD.
"But theseenemiesof mine,who did not wantme to reignoverthem, bringthem hereand slaythem in my presence."

and they criedout with a loudvoice,saying,"How long,O Lord,holyand true,will You refrainfrom judgingand avengingour bloodon thosewho dwellon the earth?"
