"For the kingof the Northwill againraisea greatermultitudethanthe former,and afteran intervalof someyearshe will presson with a greatarmyand muchequipment.
"Then the kingof the Northwill come,castup a siegerampand capturea well-fortifiedcity;and the forcesof the Southwill not stand[their ground], not even their choicesttroops,for therewill be nostrengthto makea stand.
"At the endtimethe kingof the Southwill collidewith him, and the kingof the Northwill stormagainsthim with chariots,with horsemenand with manyships;and he will entercountries,overflow[them] and passthrough.
"But one of the descendantsof her linewill arisein his place,and he will comeagainst[their] armyand enterthe fortressof the kingof the North,and he will dealwith them and display[great] strength.
"For behold,I am going to raiseup a shepherdin the landwho will not carefor the perishing,seekthe scattered,healthe broken,or sustainthe one standing,but will devourthe fleshof the fat[sheep] and tearofftheir hoofs.
