So he wentdownand dipped[himself] seventimesin the Jordan,according to the wordof the manof God;and his fleshwas restoredlike the fleshof a littlechildand he was clean.
The bowlof flourwas not exhaustednordid the jarof oilbecomeempty,according to the wordof the LORDwhichHe spokethroughElijah.
Then he returnedand walkedin the houseoncebackand forth,and wentup and stretchedhimself on him; and the ladsneezedseventimesand the ladopenedhis eyes.
Elishasenta messengerto him, saying,"Goand washin the Jordanseventimes,and your fleshwill be restoredto you and [you will] be clean."
They roseearlyin the morningand wentout to the wildernessof Tekoa;and when they wentout, Jehoshaphatstoodand said,"Listento me, O Judahand inhabitantsof Jerusalem,putyour trustin the LORDyour Godand you will be established.Putyour trustin His prophetsand succeed."
"IfI have despisedthe claimof my maleor femaleslavesWhen they fileda complaintagainstme,
Let his fleshbecomefresherthanin youth,Let him returnto the daysof his youthfulvigor;
Then He said,"Putyour handinto your bosomagain."So he puthis handinto his bosomagain,and when he tookit out of his bosom,behold,it was restoredlike [the rest of] his flesh.
Give[instruction] to a wisemanand he will be stillwiser,Teacha righteousmanand he will increase[his] learning.
"The garment,whetherthe warporthe woof,oranyarticleof leatherfrom whichthe markhas departedwhen you washedit, it shall then be washeda secondtimeand will be clean."
"In that daya fountainwill be openedfor the houseof Davidand for the inhabitantsof Jerusalem,for sinand for impurity.
And in that daylivingwaterswill flowout of Jerusalem,halfof them towardthe easternseaand the other halftowardthe westernsea;it will be in summeras well as in winter.
"And there were manylepersin Israelin the timeof Elishathe prophet;and noneof them was cleansed,but onlyNaamanthe Syrian."
And He stretchedout His handand touchedhim, saying,"I am willing;be cleansed."And immediatelythe leprosylefthim.
His mothersaidto the servants,"WhateverHe saysto you, doit."
whogaveHimselffor us to redeemus from everylawless deed,and to purifyfor Himselfa peoplefor His ownpossession,zealousfor gooddeeds.
"Also sevenpriestsshall carryseventrumpetsof rams'hornsbeforethe ark;then on the seventhdayyou shall marcharoundthe cityseventimes,and the priestsshall blowthe trumpets.
