"He raisesthe poorfrom the dust,He liftsthe needyfrom the ashheapTo make them sitwith nobles,And inherita seatof honor;For the pillarsof the earthare the LORD'S,And He setthe worldon them.
Then Pharaohsentand calledfor Joseph,and they hurriedlybroughthim out of the dungeon;and when he had shavedhimself and changedhis clothes,he cameto Pharaoh.
"You shall be overmy house,and accordingto your commandallmy peopleshall dohomage;onlyin the throneI will be greaterthanyou."
"Nowtherefore, thusyou shall sayto My servantDavid,'Thussaysthe LORDof hosts,"I tookyou from the pasture,from followingthe sheep,to be ruleroverMy peopleIsrael.
"Inasmuchas I exaltedyou from the dustand madeyou leaderoverMy peopleIsrael,and you have walkedin the wayof Jeroboamand have made My peopleIsraelsin,provokingMe to angerwith their sins,
He aroseand wentinto the house,and he pouredthe oilon his headand saidto him, "Thussaysthe LORD,the Godof Israel,I have anointedyou kingoverthe peopleof the LORD,[even] overIsrael.
He said,"NakedI camefrom my mother'swomb,And nakedI shall returnthere.The LORDgaveand the LORDhas takenaway. Blessedbe the nameof the LORD."
And he tooka potsherdto scrapehimself while he was sittingamongthe ashes.
"Of oldYou foundedthe earth,And the heavensare the workof Your hands.
He establishedthe earthupon its foundations,So that it will not totterforeverand ever.
But He setsthe needysecurelyon highaway from affliction,And makes[his] familieslike a flock.
For He has foundedit upon the seasAnd establishedit upon the rivers.
"The earthand allwho dwellin it melt;It is I who have firmlysetits pillars.Selah.
"I saidto the boastful,'Do not boast,'And to the wicked,Do not liftup the horn;
But Godis the Judge;He putsdownoneand exaltsanother.
For he has comeout of prisonto becomeking,eventhoughhe was bornpoorin his kingdom.
"I will drivehim [like] a pegin a firmplace,And he will becomea throneof gloryto his father'shouse.
Thenthe kingpromotedDanieland gavehim manygreatgifts,and he madehim ruleroverthe wholeprovinceof Babylonand chiefprefectoverallthe wisemenof Babylon.
"This sentenceis by the decreeof the [angelic] watchersAnd the decisionis a commandof the holyones,In orderthat the livingmay knowThat the MostHighis rulerover the realmof mankind,And bestowsit on whomHe wishesAnd setsoverit the lowliestof men."
ThenthisDanielbegan distinguishinghimself amongthe commissionersand satrapsbecausehe possessed an extraordinaryspirit,and the kingplannedto appointhim overthe entirekingdom.
And He is the radianceof His gloryand the exact representationof His nature,and upholdsall thingsby the wordof His power.When He had madepurificationof sins,He sat downat the right handof the Majestyon high,
Listen,my belovedbrethren:did not Godchoosethe poorof thisworld[to be] richin faithand heirsof the kingdomwhichHe promisedto thosewho loveHim?
and He has madeus [to be] a kingdom,prieststo His Godand Father--to Him [be] the gloryand the dominionforever and ever.Amen.
And there will nolongerbe [any] night;and they will not haveneedof the lightof a lampnorthe lightof the sun,becausethe LordGodwill illuminethem; and they will reignforeverand ever.
He who overcomes,I will grantto him to sitdownwith Me on My throne,as I alsoovercameand sat downwith My Fatheron His throne.
"You have madethem [to be] a kingdomand prieststo our God;and they will reignupon the earth."
Samuelsaid,"Is it not true, thoughyou were littlein your own eyes,you were [made] the headof the tribesof Israel?And the LORDanointedyou kingoverIsrael,
