Then Davidsaidto his sonSolomon,"Be strongand courageous,and act;do not fearnorbe dismayed,for the LORDGod,my God,is with you. He will not failyou norforsakeyou untilallthe workfor the serviceof the houseof the LORDis finished.
"As for you, my sonSolomon,knowthe Godof your father,and serveHim with a wholeheartand a willingmind;for the LORDsearchesallhearts,and understandseveryintentof the thoughts.Ifyou seekHim, He will let you findHim; but ifyou forsakeHim, He will rejectyou forever.
You have ascendedon high,You have ledcaptive[Your] captives;You have receivedgiftsamong men,Even [among] the rebelliousalso,that the LORDGodmay dwell[there].
"Let them constructa sanctuaryfor Me, that I may dwellamongthem.
"I will dwellamongthe sonsof Israeland will be their God.
For thussaysthe highand exaltedOne Who livesforever,whose nameis Holy,"I dwell[on] a highand holyplace, And [also] with the contriteand lowlyof spiritIn order to revivethe spiritof the lowlyAnd to revivethe heartof the contrite.
Moreover, I will makeMy dwellingamongyou, and My soulwill not rejectyou.
Orwhatagreementhas the templeof Godwith idols?For we are the templeof the livingGod;justas Godsaid,"I WILL DWELLIN THEM AND WALK AMONGTHEM; AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD,AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE.
"Be strongand courageous,do not be afraidor trembleat them, for the LORDyour Godis the one who goeswith you. He will not failyou or forsakeyou."
"The LORDis the one who goesaheadof you; He will be with you. He will not failyou or forsakeyou. Do not fearor be dismayed."

And I hearda loudvoicefrom the throne,saying,"Behold,the tabernacleof Godis amongmen,and He will dwellamongthem, and they shall be His people,and GodHimselfwill be amongthem,
"For the LORDwill not abandonHis peopleon accountof His greatname,becausethe LORDhas been pleasedto makeyou a peoplefor Himself.
