Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and {\b ye shall find rest unto your souls.}
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.}\par
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.
In nothing be anxious; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.\par
In peace will I both lay me down and sleep;\par\tab For thou, Jehovah, alone makest me dwell in safety.\par
{\b A Psalm of David.}\par\par\tab Jehovah is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures;\par\tab He leadeth me beside still waters.
He restoreth my soul:\par\tab He guideth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Thou wilt keep {\i him} in perfect peace, {\i whose} mind {\i is} stayed {\i on thee}; because he trusteth in thee.
Be still, and know that I am God:\par\tab I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High\par\tab Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of Jehovah, He is my refuge and my fortress;\par\tab My God, in whom I trust.
Cast thy burden upon Jehovah, and he will sustain thee:\par\tab He will never suffer the righteous to be moved.
There remaineth therefore a sabbath rest for the people of God.
For he that is entered into his rest hath himself also rested from his works, as God did from his.
Therefore I say unto you, Be not anxious for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than the food, and the body than the raiment?
Behold the birds of the heaven, that they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; and your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are not ye of much more value than they?
And which of you by being anxious can add one cubit unto the measure of his life?
These things have I spoken unto you, that in me ye may have peace. In the world ye have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.}\par
{\b For the Chief Musician; after the manner of Jeduthun. A Psalm of David.}\par\par\tab My soul waiteth in silence for God only:\par\tab From him {\i cometh} my salvation.
He only is my rock and my salvation:\par\tab {\i He is} my high tower;\par\tab I shall not be greatly moved.
When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid:\par\tab Yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.
but they that wait for Jehovah shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint.\par
Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The Lord be with you all.\par
And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness, quietness and confidence for ever.
Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit.\par
Rest in Jehovah, and wait patiently for him:\par\tab Fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way,\par\tab Because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
{\b {\i A Psalm} of David.}\par\par\tab Jehovah is my light and my salvation;\par\tab Whom shall I fear?\par\tab Jehovah is the strength of my life;\par\tab Of whom shall I be afraid?
fear thou not, for I am with thee; be not dismayed, for I am thy God; I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
For thus said the Lord Jehovah, the Holy One of Israel, In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength. And ye would not:
I laid me down and slept;\par\tab I awaked; for Jehovah sustaineth me.
I will not be afraid of ten thousands of the people\par\tab That have set themselves against me round about.
When I remember thee upon my bed,\par\tab {\i And} meditate on thee in the night-watches.
For thou hast been my help,\par\tab And in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.
He entereth into peace; they rest in their beds, each one that walketh in his uprightness.\par
I have set Jehovah always before me:\par\tab Because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth;\par\tab My flesh also shall dwell in safety.
Be ye free from the love of money; content with such things as ye have: for himself hath said, {\b I will in no wise fail thee, neither will I in any wise forsake thee.}
{\b For the Chief Musician. {\i A Psalm} of the sons of Korah; set to Alamoth. A Song.}\par\par\tab God is our refuge and strength,\par\tab A very present help in trouble.
Jehovah will give strength unto his people;\par\tab Jehovah will bless his people with peace.\par
Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for Jehovah, {\i even} Jehovah, is my strength and song; and he is become my salvation.
But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell securely,\par\tab And shall be quiet without fear of evil.\par
The things which ye both learned and received and heard and saw in me, these things do: and the God of peace shall be with you.\par
{\b A Song of Ascents.}\par\par\tab I will lift up mine eyes unto the mountains:\par\tab From whence shall my help come?
My help {\i cometh} from Jehovah,\par\tab Who made heaven and earth.
When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned, neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
{\b A Song of Ascents.}\par\par\tab They that trust in Jehovah\par\tab Are as mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abideth for ever.
Our soul hath waited for Jehovah:\par\tab He is our help and our shield.
For our heart shall rejoice in him,\par\tab Because we have trusted in his holy name.
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, and no one shall snatch them out of my hand.
And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to the which also ye were called in one body; and be ye thankful.
Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul;\par\tab Like a weaned child with his mother,\par\tab Like a weaned child is my soul within me.
Even as the Father hath loved me, I also have loved you: abide ye in my love.
If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
And we know that to them that love God all things work together for good, {\i even} to them that are called according to {\i his} purpose.
Jehovah is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;\par\tab My God, my rock, in whom I will take refuge;\par\tab My shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.
And my people shall abide in a peaceable habitation, and in safe dwellings, and in quiet resting-places.
Deceit is in the heart of them that devise evil;\par\tab But to the counsellors of peace is joy.
Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O Jehovah,\par\tab And teachest out of thy law;
That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity,\par\tab Until the pit be digged for the wicked.
for God is not {\i a God} of confusion, but of peace.\par\par\tab As in all the churches of the saints,
Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man shall see the Lord:
I will hear what God Jehovah will speak;\par\tab For he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints:\par\tab But let them not turn again to folly.
Wait for Jehovah:\par\tab Be strong, and let thy heart take courage;\par\tab Yea, wait thou for Jehovah.\par
For the mountains may depart, and the hills be removed; but my lovingkindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall my covenant of peace be removed, saith Jehovah that hath mercy on thee.
God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved:\par\tab God will help her, and that right early.
Trust in Jehovah with all thy heart,\par\tab And lean not upon thine own understanding:
In all thy ways acknowledge him,\par\tab And he will direct thy paths.
There is no fear in love: but perfect love casteth out fear, because fear hath punishment; and he that feareth is not made perfect in love.
Why art thou cast down, O my soul?\par\tab And why art thou disquieted within me?\par\tab Hope thou in God; for I shall yet praise him,\par\tab {\i Who is} the help of my countenance, and my God.\par
Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfected; be comforted; be of the same mind; live in peace: and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
Let us therefore draw near with boldness unto the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace to help {\i us} in time of need.\par
{\b For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.}\par\par\tab I waited patiently for Jehovah;\par\tab And he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay;\par\tab And he set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come {\i with} vengeance, {\i with} the recompense of God; he will come and save you.\par
And Jehovah, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.
As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.
He will cover thee with his pinions,\par\tab And under his wings shalt thou take refuge:\par\tab His truth is a shield and a buckler.
Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night,\par\tab Nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
And the God of peace himself sanctify you wholly; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved entire, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Faithful is he that calleth you, who will also do it.\par
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,
nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.\par
Oh taste and see that Jehovah is good:\par\tab Blessed is the man that taketh refuge in him.
I pray not that thou shouldest take them from the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil {\i one}.
In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old.\par
For ye received not the spirit of bondage again unto fear; but ye received the spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
Again therefore Jesus spake unto them, saying, {\cf6 I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in the darkness, but shall have the light of life.}
As the mountains are round about Jerusalem,\par\tab So Jehovah is round about his people\par\tab From this time forth and for evermore.
{\b And let him turn away from evil, and do good;\par\tab Let him seek peace, and pursue it.}
For this God is our God for ever and ever:\par\tab He will be our guide {\i even} unto death.\par
Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard? The everlasting God, Jehovah, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary; there is no searching of his understanding.
He giveth power to the faint; and to him that hath no might he increaseth strength.
being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ:
Know ye that Jehovah, he is God:\par\tab It is he that hath made us, and we are his;\par\tab We are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Like as a father pitieth his children,\par\tab So Jehovah pitieth them that fear him.
For he knoweth our frame;\par\tab He remembereth that we are dust.
And this is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us:
and if we know that he heareth us whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.
Great peace have they that love thy law;\par\tab And they have no occasion of stumbling.
{\b A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah.}\par\par\tab O God, thou art my God; earnestly will I seek thee:\par\tab My soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee,\par\tab In a dry and weary land, where no water is.
So have I looked upon thee in the sanctuary,\par\tab To see thy power and thy glory.
Because thy lovingkindness is better than life,\par\tab My lips shall praise thee.
So will I bless thee while I live:\par\tab I will lift up my hands in thy name.
teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.}\par
A man's goings are established of Jehovah;\par\tab And he delighteth in his way.
Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down;\par\tab For Jehovah upholdeth him with his hand.
I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou art afraid of man that shall die, and of the son of man that shall be made as grass;
Out of my distress I called upon Jehovah:\par\tab Jehovah answered me {\i and set me} in a large place.
Jehovah is on my side; I will not fear:\par\tab What can man do unto me?
Blessed {\i be} the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort;
who comforteth us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort them that are in any affliction, through the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
For thou hast been a stronghold to the poor, a stronghold to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.
for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
My flesh and my heart faileth;\par\tab {\i But} God is the strength of my heart and my portion for ever.
I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee.
which we have as an anchor of the soul, {\i a hope} both sure and stedfast and entering into that which is within the veil;
How precious is thy lovingkindness, O God!\par\tab And the children of men take refuge under the shadow of thy wings.
They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house;\par\tab And thou wilt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.
Jehovah is nigh unto all them that call upon him,\par\tab To all that call upon him in truth.
Jehovah, thou wilt ordain peace for us; for thou hast also wrought all our works for us.
and how shall they preach, except they be sent? even as it is written, {\b How beautiful are the feet of them that bring glad tidings of good things!}\par
Because of the tender mercy of our God,\par\tab Whereby the dayspring from on high shall visit us,
{\b To shine upon them that sit in darkness and the shadow of death};\par\tab To guide our feet into the way of peace.\par
Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.
Let all that ye do be done in love.\par
Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might.
Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Jehovah also will be a high tower for the oppressed,\par\tab A high tower in times of trouble;
And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee;\par\tab For thou, Jehovah, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
But the Lord is faithful, who shall establish you, and guard you from the evil {\i one}.
The fear of man bringeth a snare;\par\tab But whoso putteth his trust in Jehovah shall be safe.
For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing; and all the trees of the fields shall clap their hands.
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed to us-ward.
But the meek shall inherit the land,\par\tab And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
unto him {\i be} the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus unto all generations for ever and ever. Amen.\par
But now thus saith Jehovah that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel: Fear not, for I have redeemed thee; I have called thee by thy name, thou art mine.
For his anger is but for a moment;\par\tab His favor is for a life-time:\par\tab Weeping may tarry for the night,\par\tab But joy {\i cometh} in the morning.
Thou, who hast showed us many and sore troubles,\par\tab Wilt quicken us again,\par\tab And wilt bring us up again from the depths of the earth.
Increase thou my greatness,\par\tab And turn again and comfort me.
Now the God of patience and of comfort grant you to be of the same mind one with another according to Christ Jesus:
He will not suffer thy foot to be moved:\par\tab He that keepeth thee will not slumber.
Behold, he that keepeth Israel\par\tab Will neither slumber nor sleep.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
meekness, self-control; against such there is no law.
As for God, his way is perfect:\par\tab The word of Jehovah is tried;\par\tab He is a shield unto all them that take refuge in him.
and that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your hands, even as we charged you;
For in hope were we saved: but hope that is seen is not hope: for who hopeth for that which he seeth?
But if we hope for that which we see not, {\i then} do we with patience wait for it.\par
Jehovah openeth {\i the eyes of} the blind;\par\tab Jehovah raiseth up them that are bowed down;\par\tab Jehovah loveth the righteous;
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.\par
I thank my God always concerning you, for the grace of God which was given you in Christ Jesus;
And Jesus looking upon {\i them} said to them, {\cf6 With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.}
For thus saith Jehovah, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the nations like an overflowing stream: and ye shall suck {\i thereof}; ye shall be borne upon the side, and shall be dandled upon the knees.
Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee:\par\tab Let such as love thy salvation say continually, Jehovah be magnified.
But godliness with contentment is great gain:
for we brought nothing into the world, for neither can we carry anything out;
But let all those that take refuge in thee rejoice,\par\tab Let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them:\par\tab Let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.
Of the increase of his government and of peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to establish it, and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of Jehovah of hosts will perform this.\par
For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that through patience and through comfort of the scriptures we might have hope.
Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? and not one of them shall fall on the ground without your Father:
but the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
And God is able to make all grace abound unto you; that ye, having always all sufficiency in everything, may abound unto every good work:
and Jehovah will guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in dry places, and make strong thy bones; and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.
For Jehovah God is a sun and a shield:\par\tab Jehovah will give grace and glory;\par\tab No good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
