The name of Jehovah is a strong tower;\par\tab The righteous runneth into it, and is safe.
Again therefore Jesus spake unto them, saying, {\cf6 I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in the darkness, but shall have the light of life.}
Rejoice in the Lord always: again I will say, Rejoice.Let your forbearance be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee.
As for God, his way is perfect:\par\tab The word of Jehovah is tried;\par\tab He is a shield unto all them that take refuge in him.
Great peace have they that love thy law;\par\tab And they have no occasion of stumbling.
For his anger is but for a moment;\par\tab His favor is for a life-time:\par\tab Weeping may tarry for the night,\par\tab But joy {\i cometh} in the morning.
Jehovah, thou wilt ordain peace for us; for thou hast also wrought all our works for us.
Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man shall see the Lord:
for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Jehovah is nigh unto all them that call upon him,\par\tab To all that call upon him in truth.

and the ransomed of Jehovah shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their heads: they shall obtain gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.\par
He maketh the storm a calm,\par\tab So that the waves thereof are still.Then are they glad because they are quiet;\par\tab So he bringeth them unto their desired haven.
And this is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us:and if we know that he heareth us whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.
Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is none else.
Let us therefore draw near with boldness unto the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace to help {\i us} in time of need.\par
The Spirit of the Lord Jehovah is upon me; because Jehovah hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening {\i of the prison} to them that are bound;to proclaim the year of Jehovah's favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;to appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them a garland for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of Jehovah, that he may be glorified.\par
For in the day of trouble he will keep me secretly in his pavilion:\par\tab In the covert of his tabernacle will he hide me;\par\tab He will lift me up upon a rock.
When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid:\par\tab Yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.

which we have as an anchor of the soul, {\i a hope} both sure and stedfast and entering into that which is within the veil;
For the mountains may depart, and the hills be removed; but my lovingkindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall my covenant of peace be removed, saith Jehovah that hath mercy on thee.
being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ:
For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand.\par\tab I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God,\par\tab Than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
But let all those that take refuge in thee rejoice,\par\tab Let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them:\par\tab Let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.
And there shall be stability in thy times, abundance of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge: the fear of Jehovah is thy treasure.\par
