“And I shall establish My covenant between Me and you and your seed after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be Elohim to you and your seed after you.


You would put to shame the counsel of the poor, But יהוה is his refuge.


I cried out to You, O יהוה: I said, “You are my refuge, My portion in the land of the living.


“Listen to my cry, For I am brought very low; Deliver me from my persecutors, For they are too strong for me.


יהוה is my rock and my stronghold and my deliverer; My Ěl is my rock, I take refuge in Him; My shield and the horn of my deliverance, my high tower.


I call upon יהוה, the One to be praised, And I am saved from my enemies.


Bĕt O my Elohim, in You I have put my trust; Let me not be ashamed; Let not my enemies exult over me.


My times are in Your hand; Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, And from those who pursue me.

Elohim is our refuge and strength, A help in distress, soon found.


Therefore we do not fear, Though the earth reels And mountains topple into the heart of the seas.


For this Elohim is our Elohim, Forever and ever; He Himself leads us, Even to death.


For You, O Elohim, have heard my vows; You have given me the inheritance Of those who fear Your Name.


Be to me a rock to dwell in, To go into continually. You have given the command to save me, For You are my rock and my stronghold.


Because you have made יהוה – My refuge, the Most High – your dwelling place,


The Name of יהוה is a strong tower; The righteous run into it and are safe.


“See, Ěl is my deliverance, I trust and am not afraid. For Yah, יהוה, is my strength and my song; and He has become my deliverance.”


“At that time,” declares יהוה, “I shall be the Elohim of all the clans of Yisra’ĕl, and they shall be My people.”


“Now He is not the Elohim of the dead, but of the living, for all live to Him.”


But now they long for a better place, that is, a heavenly. Therefore Elohim is not ashamed to be called their Elohim, for He has prepared a city for them.
