And יהוה was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.
He has not done so with any nation; And they have not known His right-rulings! Praise Yah!
For Your way to be known on earth, Your deliverance among all nations.
How often they rebelled against Him in the wilderness, And grieved Him in the desert!
And not be like their fathers, A stubborn and rebellious generation, A generation which did not prepare its heart, Whose spirit was not steadfast to Ěl.
For forty years I was grieved with that generation, And said, ‘They are a people who go astray in their hearts, And they do not know My ways.’
