therefore, see, I am bringing evil to the house of Yaroḇ‛am, and shall cut off from Yaroḇ‛am every male in Yisra’ĕl, whether shut up or left at large, and sweep away the remnant of the house of Yaroḇ‛am, as one sweeps away dung until it is all gone.
And it came to be, when he began to reign, as soon as he was seated on his throne, that he struck all the household of Ba‛asha. He did not leave him one male, neither of his relatives nor of his friends.
See, I am bringing evil on you, and shall consume your descendants, and cut off from Aḥaḇ every male in Yisra’ĕl, both those shut up and those left at large,
And all the house of Aḥaḇ shall perish. And I shall cut off from Aḥaḇ all the males in Yisra’ĕl, both those shut up and those left at large.
“Where you die, I die, and there I shall be buried. יהוה do so to me, and more also – for death itself parts you and me.”
And Sha’ul answered, “Elohim do so and more also, for you shall certainly die, Yonathan.”
so let יהוה do so and much more to Yehonathan. And if it pleases my father to do you evil, then I shall disclose it to you and send you away, and you shall go in peace. And יהוה be with you as He has been with my father.
And Yehonathan made a covenant with the house of Dawiḏ, saying, “יהוה shall require it at the hand of the enemies of Dawiḏ.”
And he said, “What is the word that He spoke to you? Please do not hide it from me. Elohim do so to you, and more also, if you hide a word from me of all the words that He spoke to you.”
