That he may withdraw their souls from corruption, and enlighten them with the light of the living.
Let the mercies of the Lord give glory to him: and his wonderful works to the children of men.
The Lord fulfil all thy petitions: now have I known that the Lord hath saved his anointed. He will hear him from his holy heaven: the salvation of his right hand is in powers.
For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: I am turned in my anguish, whilst the thorn is fastened.
Bring out the sword, and shut up the way against them that persecute me: say to my soul: I am thy salvation.
But as for me in the multitude of thy mercy, I will come into thy house: I will worship towards thy holy temple, in thy fear.
But I, as a fruitful olive tree in the house of God, have hoped in the mercy of God for ever, yea for ever and ever.
Thou hast brought a vineyard out of Egypt: thou hast cast cut the Gentiles and planted it.
For thy mercy is great towards me: and thou hast delivered my soul out of the lower hell.
And I will lead the blind into the way which they know not: and in the paths which they were ignorant of I will make them walk. I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things have I done to them, and have not forsaken them.
Behold, I will bring them from the north country and will gather them from the ends of the earth: and among them shall be the blind and the lame, the woman with child and she that is bringing forth, together, a great company of them returning hither.
But I spared them for the sake of my name, lest it should be profaned before the nations from which I brought them out in their sight.
Unto the praise of the glory of his grace, in which he hath graced us in his beloved son.
