And the lord of that servant being moved with pity, let him go and forgave him the debt.


Now his fellow servants seeing what was done, were very much grieved, and they came and told their lord all that was done.


Shouldst not thou then have had compassion also on thy fellow servant, even as I had compassion on thee?


And his lord answering, said to him: Wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sow not, and gather where I have not strewed:


He saith to him: Out of thy own mouth I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up what I laid not down, and reaping that which I did not sow:


Now we know, that what things soever the law speaketh, it speaketh to them that are in the law; that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may be made subject to God.


For judgment without mercy to him that hath not done mercy. And mercy exalteth itself above judgment.
